I read for 10 minutes each day to help improve my Chinese and honestly this app is so good! It has new stories every day, you can sort the news stories by topic and while reading, if you don’t know a word, you can just click on it. You can also set the text to show or hide pinyin above the characters.  This app is perfect for everything I use it for.
If you are looking for an app for listening however, the voice on this app is a computer voice that, while is clear, sounds a bit unnatural. Not a problem for me because I only use this app for reading, but it’s something to keep in mind.
The free version of this app is perfect for the casual reader. If you want some more of the functions it offers, such as HSK training etc. you can pay for the membership, which is pretty reasonably priced at the moment but not needed for me currently although I might consider it in the future.
Well done to the team who have developed this app!

This app is my favorite and most fundamental tool for learning Chinese. It can feel a little overwhelming at first but I promise soon enough your vocabulary and understanding of grammar starts skyrocketing if you take the time to read a lot of what interests you and you do it critically and intensely.

1日1記事を日本語に訳しながら活用させてもらっています。分からない単語をタップするだけで単語の意味も漢字の成り立ちも分かる素晴らしいアプリです。ただ、記事内で単語や文法をお気に入り（ハートマーク）した後、それを再び見る方法が分からないので教えてください。どこで自分のお気に入り登録したものが見られますか？

I have one major gripe with this app - there is a button marked 'Print Article' but it does not allow you to print; it brings up no print dialogue. Printing is disabled despite the Print button being there. I told the developer about this years ago - he hasn't bothered to do anything about it. Why use an app which is deliberately and deceitfully disabled in this way?? UPDAtE: well, this is the THIRD time I have pointed out that there is a big button in the app labelled ‘Print Article’, but it does NOT bring up the print dialogue - and obviously intentionally because the author has ignored this complaint for as long as I can remember. He has also made it VERY difficult to share with other apps which might print an article; and he has pretty much disabled copy as well. But he still takes the money. Going to file a formal report with Apple  (app functionality misleading) to see if that gets him to take some action.

I just downloaded this to try it and although you can see the text of the audio does not work. You press play and it keeps loading and loading and loading and nothing happens. The only thing that this App does is make the to remove ads pay this much pop up. I did not download this for reading, I downloaded this for listening, and listening is not working at all. Automatically deleting - would not recommend.

Very good app but hasn't been updated for a long time. There is a button marked  'Print article' which does not print it! I pointed this out at least a year ago - got some ridiculous excuse from support but they never fixed it. Can't print vocabulary either. So they have a good app but they can't be bothered to update it or fix it but they will still take your money!

Most categories have no articles, especially in easy mode. The font customization doesn’t work and oddly enough, seems to have been designed for Japanese text. The automatic theme switch doesn’t work. There’s a possibility to show pinyin annotations around the words, but the implementation is pretty useless as it’s based on HSK level instead of rarity/frequency. As most words aren’t in HSK, even frequent words, all words end up being annotated.

Easy to use and good look up words function and some other very good options and features. Not a perfect app yet since doesn’t show individual levels, but good mix between easy and challenging. Hoping for a same page translation feature, but overall, yes, I would recommend and am definitely currently using and satisfied.

Mình thích học từ và luyện nghe qia tin tức thực tế nên app thực sự rất có ích với mình.

程よい長さのニュースが、音声つきで読めます。
拼音も表記されていますし、翻訳機能もついています。
単語をタップして、その意味を詳しく見ることもできます。
今の所、毎日10話分のニュースをチェックできるようです。
しばらくはこれを一つの教材のようにして使っていければと思います。

中国語の勉強にちょうどいいです。ただ、世界のニュースが中心で、中国国内のニュースが少ない気がするのでそこは少し悲しいですね。

Quite like this app. Note there is a Japanese language’forever’ package for $30 and a chinese language‘package’ for $30. Can I get both at a better rate?
