It’s been 10 months since WWDC, this is a very easy update, disappointed it hasn’t been done yet for iPad and iPhone ### 4/5 — Date not right in my pop up notification *2021-01-03* My pop up notification dates tend to be decades off. For example, today says Jan 3, 1924 Manuel Noriega surrenders to US forces. I was in the navy when it happened. I know I’m not that old. Perhaps an over abundance of minor US sports stars, but it is easy to scroll past the ones that don't interest you. Many of the articles are maddeningly brief, but some are quite long. This is a great idea and could be good but really poor execution of facts. Incorrect and wrong photos of people or photo used more than once. Just means I can’t believe any of it. Today May 7th, you open the app, and shows what happened on May 6th....can't even get the dates right...Just WONDERBAR...Great job, guys... ### 1/5 — Want to remove ads? Too bad! *2015-05-05* I liked the idea of this app, but was confused with the ads. The first ad popped up saying, "Not a fan of ads? Just turn them off in the settings." If you go to the settings and push the large button that says "Remove Ads", it generates a little circle that spins for a second before turning into an X. It might as well turned into a middle finger as there are STILL ads popping up all over. Of course, the main menu has a big note saying that this version is no longer being updated and to switch to the free 'lite' version. Why have a pro version if you aren't going to support it? Oh well. Into the "too good to be true" deleted apps file. ### 1/5 — Buggy. *2015-05-04* - The date isn't accurate, "Today" is a day behind. - When you make an account, you get bombarded with ads. - The side bar has a link that says, "The App will not be updated, click here and download the latest version of Today in History." When you click on the link, it takes you to the outdated lite version of this app. - When you choose a date, events from a different date are displayed. - Network error keeps popping up for everything that requires Internet when my wi-fi is working fine. :/ ### 1/5 — Confusion... *2015-05-03, version 4.0* There appears to be some confusion surrounding this App. First when launched it says "unable to get event list" then tells you you need to "upgrade" to an older version being 2.3.2 that hasn't been updated since 2011. The version downloaded is version 4.0 then after much poking and prodding it loads only one stream for historical deaths.... But nothing else...
