Completely re-written in SwiftUI to support Widgets and Complications including systemSmall, systemMedium, systemLarge, accessoryInline, accessoryRectangular, and accessoryCircular.

Need to keep a snippet of text handy? Tired of messing up your notes, trying to keep the app open and unlocked while you are trying to do something else.

Today Snippet will allow you to share text, or a selection of text, with the Today Snipper widget. Then you can see your info from the Lock Screen, even when your phone is locked. You can also put the widget on your Today View or Home Screen. The Apple Watch app also has a complication making it readily accessible.

You can tap the Today Snippet Widget to go to the app where you can launch the appropriate app using hyperlinks detected in the text. Once you have finished with the text on the Today widget, you can overwrite it, or delete it.

To go straight to the Today Snippet app Settings from the Today Snippet widget, just tap on the widget.

It works well for me to see my grocery list without unlocking my phone. Would be cool if font size were adjustable and background color could be customized or at least didn’t have to always be white.

The two main drawbacks are;
1 – does not display on the Lock Screen
2 – a little cumbersome to get your note to the widget.

I use it to read my shopping list in the store. We have to wear masks, and to open a note is difficult. Once the note is posted to the widget, it takes a tap to activate the screen, followed by a swipe to see the widget, really not that hard

This app does no work as advertised. Wanted an app to post notes to my locked screen so I would see it instantly when opening my phone. It is in the widgets when I swipe right, but not when my screen opens. I finally went and got an actual paper post it note. What a waste of $.99

Biggest waste of time ever! They say you can save covid card to your phone. Fat chance they need to offer the app for free then charge you only if it works. This was a complete waste of time!

I have just purchased this so I could have a reminder on my lock screen. 
Unfortunately, the notes DO NOT show on the lockscreen as reminders. 
You have to swipe right to show the notes which is no better than using the Notes app anyway. 
Waste of my money.
