So grateful for these bikes

I love being able to rent these bikes to get around Richmond. I live in Atchison village, work at the Richmond field station, and often commute via ferry. All these locations are covered with the today bikes and I am so grateful for the opportunity to bike instead of driving. Thank you Richmond!!

Stay away!

I tried to unlock a bike at the Burlington, Vt lakefront. First bike did not unlock. I tried it a couple of times then successfully unlocked a second bike. I now see TEN separate charges for $60 on my credit card. What a buggy system. I have used bike share for years in numerous cities so I have done this before . Just warning others

Swipe to end ride

Forgot to swipe to end ride. I assumed locking the bike was ending the ride

Burlington Segway

bike battery only rode so many miles but no sign posted that mist likely bike would not get you to the end of bikepath and back before draining. better signage and having full battery bikes at other end of bikepath would be better.

Fun!

Brakes need attention.

Bug

Getting an error message now and it won’t fully load

Bug

Had an error 7 and no power for a few minutes but boost came back. Happened twice.

Bug

Bike/app acted as if the bike had been unlocked, but it wasn’t. Currently getting charged 20 cents a minute

Bug

Cannot get through paying; husband paid but cannot unlock; neither can he end the ride.

Bug

Scooters are never charged, you have to park them in designated spots

Bug

Did a ride, returned the bike, ended the ride in the App, locked the bike up, listened to the bike make the shut-down tone and shut down the display... and they charged me $200 for never returning the bike.

Bug

Scooter ran out of battery part way through the ride (had 32% to start and it only lasted about 15 minutes). Of course once the battery dies, you can’t end your ride so the timer for billing keeps running.

Bug

After we finished our ride, we locked our bikes and tried to end our rides through the leap app. Guess what?! The ride didn’t wanna end, the app kept on telling us to lock our bike (which we already did) and they were still charging us.

Bug

App does not work, and the staff has no ability to help

Bug

Hopefully, they are not dead or out of battery. Then when you want to finish your drive! it won’t happen after you call service. After 1 day, it will fix. They will not refund your payment. Sometime, there are random scooter activate you didn’t know, it will charge your account.

Bug

The hardware Leap decided to use for some reason is the worst in the scooter marketplace. Bells broken, brakes busted, batteries always dead. Besides the software being buggy as all get out, the best part of the app is how some scooters just straight up say “Unavailable” or “Unknown Error” when trying to rent one.
