The only hard thing is waiting for the next months magazine. I purchased a subscription on 9/17 and the issues included will not load. I have contacted support and their suggestions did nothing to fix the problem. I really enjoy the subscription and can print out patterns if needed. It's worth the price for the subscription. Highly recommend! ### 1/5 — Not as advertised *2016-09-22* Upon downloading Apple will charge you immediately the $60 for the annual subscription. The 30-day free trial is false advertisement. In addition to this the back issues DO NOT LOAD. And when you contact TQ for assistance they direct you to another company that tells you they cannot help you either! Now I am out $60 and have no back issues digitally. What a waste. And now I'm in limbo waiting for a refund from Apple. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! I show my friends and they are hooked too. Are you having problems? ### 1/5 — Today’s Quilter *2021-09-20* This is another updated review. I have reduced it to one star, from five stars. After subscribing for several years, and enjoying the magazine, I have canceled my subscription. Why? Because now in order to access my subscription, that I paid for, I have to set up another account with gathered.how. I have paid for these issues and now no longer am able to view them without setting up an another account. I believe if you have paid for the subscription you should be able to view it without another account. I’m sorry to not be able to read my magazines. I had several years worth that I can’t read now. Some of which I never got to read. This is an updated review. After the glitch was fixed allowing all back issues to be downloaded, I am now giving the magazine 5 stars. I love the magazine and highly recommend it. It is well done and a pleasure to read. Thank you for fixing the back order issue. First off, I love the magazine and the convenience of having it on my tablet. I subscribed in September of 2016. Part of the reason I subscribed was the free back issues being offered. They are NOT able to be downloaded. After contacting support a few times I was told that they couldn’t do it. I was, and still am, very disappointed by that fact. They did say I could have gotten a refund from Apple, but I decided to keep the subscription because the magazine is great. I would love to have the back issues, at no charge, if they have fixed the problem with downloading them. If it hadn’t been for that I would have given them 5 stars instead of 3. ### 1/5 — Rubbish App *2020-03-26, version 5.6.0* My subscription ends in May 2020 - but I cannot download Issue 60 without paying £5.99 😡😡 26/March sent info & screen shot - let us see if they do sort it - not the first time this has happened😡 ### 1/5 — NO back issues. Tablet issue is blurry *2019-06-11* How disappointing not to be able to read back issues. More discouraging is to find that the available issue is illegible beyond the first few pages. How may I get a refund? It was ok before, now is rubbish. The magazine, when I manage to download is great. The helpline has been useless ### 1/5 — Back issues do not unlock *2017-05-15* I bought this subscription solely because of the free back issues that were offered. The BACK ISSUES DO NOT LOAD, so if your buying decision thinks it's a better deal to receive 26 issues for $60 don't buy. If 13 issues for $60 is okay with you, then by all means buy this subscription. I wish I would have read the reviews first. Someone did respond when I complained about not receiving my back issues and they told me to go to support and click on restore purchases and my 13 free magazines would appear. NEVER HAPPENED. I have a message in to Apple to see if there's anyway I can get my money back. Very very disappointed with this company Immediate Media. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2017-03-01, version 3.3.63* The App was easy to use so I took out a subscription. That is when its usefulness changed. Tried to download latest issue paid for via my subscription but app proved extremely unfit for purpose as the latest issue did not appear so therefore unable to download. None of the advice given worked. Immediatemediaappsfaq@service would/could not help anymore and referred me back to Apple. Apple referred me back to the developer of the App. I finally gave up and cancelled my subscription and arranged for subscription fee to be reimbursed. ### 1/5 — What a joke! *2016-10-02* I wish I had read the reviews before paying the yearly subscription. Still looking for a way to get my money back! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great value! *2021-08-06, version 7.0.0* I’m a quilter of 30+ years (really?!?!) and find this magazine full of interest, from the projects big and small, to the articles, letters, artist bios, and events, all the way to the end. But it’s not the end! There’s a multi-page feature on a different topic each issue, a mini-magazine in itself. You just can’t miss with this subscription. Oh and did I mention the free give-away each month? Top quality plastic templates, or mini pattern booklet…or both! I just love it.
