Cons: There is no progression, there is no advancing once a child figures out the game, and there are no levels. It’s very straightforward but also very limited given the price. Pros: I think it’s a good option for a young toddler, it will keep them entertained for a little while. I downloaded it because it looked fun and it has good reviews. He was incredibly upset and hard to calm down because he kept trying to click the locks on the other games. I too thought it was a progression thing , since that’s NORMALLY how locked parts of games go. I didn’t expect a paywall in a toddlers game. The response of this developer is cold, all that was asked of them was to make it VERY clear that this is a demo and that’s all. We understand you need to get paid, I’m not even touching on the ethics of the insane amount of ads (which also could very well set off a child too, as they wouldn’t get what skipping an ad means) I double checked because as you guys said, it clearly states in the store that it’s a free demo containing in app purchases, correct? There’s NO indication on the store at all. No word “demo” or even “in app purchases” . That’s shameful. The only “indication” is when you open the app, next to the GIANT play button (so what kid would notice the writing on the side?) is a small button saying “unlock”. That’s it.
