Please fix this! ### 2/5 — Do not request to scan code *2026-02-01* After having this for 3 years Why are you asking to scan a code when we usually don’t have that code anymore, the app used to work without it, now it stopped ### 2/5 — Won't Retain Settings *2026-01-04, version 8.4* Since installing this app, I have had to pair and re-pair countless times. It seems if you don't use it VERY frequently, the settings are lost. I can see the device in my Bluetooth devices, but need to delete and repair those as well each time. The account login process is also buggy. I need to create an account, give them my email, agree to their terms and conditions, create a password and pair with the device. This is so that I can use a thermometer! Of course none of the previous mentioned steps have worked s so far, but they do not have my email and are quite happy to spam me. ### 2/5 — Unreliable *2024-11-28* Sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t, when I first got this they asked me to send a review for 2 extra probes which they never sent. I have to re sign in every time I use it and most times it won’t let me sign in. Nice try, but nope ### 1/5 — DREADFUL app! Not even hobbyist level *2024-08-09* On top of the C to F issues other people have mentioned, the mere fact that you can’t set alarms on the ambient reading, make this app totally useless even for a hobbyist. It would be one thing if the associated thermometer product it came with was half the price of competitors, you could say “well you get what you pay for.” But it’s not. It’s the same price, or MORE than established brands like ThermoWorks, Inkbird, Meater, and ThermoPro . ### 1/5 — Products does not work. Bluetooth won’t connect. *2024-04-28* Was working last night charged it overnight and the device no longer works. Have also tried android phone. ### 2/5 — Worked on and off *2024-04-13, version 6.1* Worked sometimes, most of the time it’s a pain, when it works it works well. Got new wifi and no longer works at all and now my QR code is gone it won’t work all together. Unless there’s a way to go around it I’ll be purchasing another temperature probe from another company. ### 1/5 — Login doesn’t work *2023-11-24* The whole point of buying this thermometer is to connect to my phone to watch the temperature via the app. The app does not allow you to create a login. It froze on the login screen saying I had to enter characters and numbers and symbols (which I had done). Even after reinstalling the app and changing passwords it will not go past the login page. Used to work OK (a bit unstable). However, was forced to upgrade today, and now it wants me to scan the QR code on the device. It will even pair without me requesting it sometimes when I just leave it on by accident. Works an absolute treat for me so I don’t know what those other muppets are talking about. Probably trying to run it on an iPhone 4. How do I get the QR code. NEIHOU meat probe GT01 I found out this is the wrong app for the thermometer that I have. I downloaded the correct app and it is now working.
