## What is Toki AI?

Most language apps teach you to tap. Toki AI teaches you to talk.

Pick a situation — a job interview, a doctor's appointment, renting a flat, ordering coffee — and have a real conversation with an AI tutor that answers like a person. Speak out loud or type. Every mistake gets corrected on the spot, with an explanation of why it was wrong.

WHAT YOU GET

- Real conversations, not exercises. No streak pressure, no cartoon lessons — just talking.
- Instant corrections. Not a red underline: a short explanation you actually learn from.
- Situations from real life. Interview, doctor, landlord, café, taxi, hotel, gym, shop.
- Your level, A1 to C2. The tutor adapts vocabulary and pace to where you actually are.
- Speak with your voice. Speech is recognised on your device — your audio never leaves your phone.
- A vocabulary that builds itself. Words you met in your own conversations, saved with the sentence they came from.
- Spaced review. Flashcards that come back exactly when you're about to forget.

LANGUAGES

Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Ukrainian, Chinese and more.

WHO IT'S FOR

Adults who need a language for work, relocation or travel. If you can read a language but freeze the moment you have to speak it, this was built for you.

PRIVACY

Speech recognition runs on your device. We never upload your audio.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-07

Toki AI now runs natively on iPad.

- Full-screen layouts for iPad in both portrait and landscape
- Landscape iPad: your chats stay in a sidebar next to the open conversation or Your Day — switch chats without going back
- Your Day shows all three scenes side by side on wide screens
- Tap-to-reply suggestions now respond on the first tap
- Fixed translations sometimes showing stray technical text
- Smoother mascot animation when rotating or resizing

### 1.1 — 2026-10-04

Your Day: a daily route of short scenes, from morning coffee and a taxi ride to work chats and an evening dinner out.

- Daily goal and streak freezes, so one busy day doesn't break your streak
- Scene summary: what you said, what got fixed, and new words to save in one tap
- My mistakes: practise the sentences you got wrong until they stick
- Hints when you don't know what to say
- Translations under every message at A0–A1, in your interface language
- Gentle reminders, only if you want them
