The app did its job for us and the wait times displayed were fairly accurate. It’s incredibly frustrating to use a credit card, which is required to do almost anything within the app. A foreign credit card will work one time, and then later requiring an SMS verification the next. We can’t receive SMS verification, and there’s no option for any alternative, like an email. When almost every ride requires Disney Premier access pass, but I can’t actually login and pay for them, it really diminishes the entire experience. And I can’t create and verify a card ahead of time. There was MUTIPLE times were the app wouldn’t even load past the home screen leaving more time spent trying to figure out this app than actually walking around Disney. My family and I are major Disney folks. Multiple trips in the US to World and Land, Cruise, Aulani and we are Disney Vacation Club members. We have used all the apps for those. This one is awful. The map spins for no reason, navigation is really non-existent, occasionally most of the map will be occluded by clouds and you can’t zoom back out. You can’t go back and forth between the two parks without killing the app and starting over. It takes minutes to load just menus from restaurants even though other parts of the app load quickly enough. The main menu layout is so non-intuitive to be non-sensical. And here’s the kicker: if you don’t use the app you are basically screwed because you will never get Priority Passes or 40th Anniversary Priority passes. I work in tech and have worked for one of the biggest tech firms in software development and I never would have released this for fear of being fired. Whatever team in Disney or whomever they outsourced it to should be fired and blacklisted from working in tech ever again. If I ever see a resume come across my desk that has this app on it as work experience, I am deleting it and reject listing that person. Not sure why it is rated so low. I was able to use it without any problems. There are so many useful things here, from finding attractions & restaurants, ordering food, and even checking ride wait times. I used it multiple times to find my way through the park, check ride times, buy the priority pass for rides that were more than a 90min wait, and also order food at certain dining halls like the Frozen one. Had so much fun at DisneySea and this app made everything go smoothly. ### 5/5 — Very Solid! *2025-09-09* I’m honestly not sure what the hate is around the app either. It’s a bit slow, but is set up and functions great! I appreciated that it could tell me my location as I was navigating the park, especially in the dark.
