## What is Tokyo Segreta?

Tokyo Segreta is a practical guide designed to help you experience Tokyo in a more aware, efficient, and useful way. It brings together niche content, carefully selected recommendations, and concrete tools to help you navigate the city, discover interesting places, and solve common problems quickly—whether you’re traveling or living in Tokyo.

Inside the app, you’ll find a curated selection of places, events, useful information, and emergency resources, continuously updated based on direct, on-the-ground experience. The idea is simple: less theory, more real solutions.

Tokyo Segreta was created as the public version of a tool I’ve built for myself over the years, and that I use every day to organize tours, create content, go live, and stay in sync with what’s actually happening in the city.

If something is included, it’s because it genuinely matters.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-07-18

Tokyo Segreta gets a deep update: a new "My Tokyo" section bringing your profile, favourites and progress together, a guided onboarding on first launch, and a completely redesigned menu. A brand-new level and progress system debuts: complete goals and explore the city to level up, plus time-limited Station Stamp events. New smart search, sounds you can turn off in Preferences, and tons of other improvements across the app.

New: "Ready for your trip in Japan?", a timed quiz with recap, explanations, and a shareable result card. Map location is clearer with warnings for weak or outdated GPS. Added map promos, refined the Goshuin list, improved Jump to sorting, and polished Expeditions, including restarting completed routes after new steps are added.

### 1.3.7 — 2026-05-26

App experience improvements: new customizable Nearby radius (up to 5 km), clearer addresses in restaurant and shop details, new helpful notes for restaurant categories, and English localization fixes in Favourites/Nearby. Patreon menu entry has also been added.
