I was really excited about downloading this app! Just got it not to load, completely disappointing!

We value your time and an app downloaded but not working is very disappointing. 

If you decide to give it another try, we just released an update last week addressing some of the freezing and device compatibility issues. If it is not fixed, please let us know and we can reach out for more specifics.

With the last update the app now makes me sign in every time I use it—very inconvenient. I won’t be using the app anymore.

We are incredibly sorry for the delay in fixing this issue. It has now been resolved, but we realize this was incredibly detrimental to using the app.

I can’t place holds on anything. I think the scanning isbns is a good idea, but it doesn’t really work. I also would like to be able to add books to my book cart and/or lists.

**Developer response:** Oh no! We are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. Scanning ISBNs, placing holds, and adding books to a request are features that should be functioning. Please email us at apps@toledolibrary.org so we may help you.

I’ve had this app for a long time. It can be very useful but right now it’s very slow and it takes forever to load

I love the ability to self checkout especially when I have kids in tow. I can do this as we gather books.

I like that I can see the accounts connected to my own too. 

My only criticism- it freezes every time I use it. I end up going to my laptop so I can resume looking up my account. That seems to be the kicker- I’m looking to see what books I have checked out, if my holds are ready, etc. That’s typically the time when I can’t use the app any longer.

We recently had an app update to streamline the amount of content in the app to improve speed and decrease the freezing. 

We are hopeful this has been resolved on all devices. Please reach out if you have any issues!

I’m impressed with the app overall. I love that I can access my and my children’s account very easily. I am, however, having issues with the app freezing up. When clicking on my account, I cannot go between shelves w/o the app freezing. I have to close and try again, and even then that doesn’t always work. Not sure if that’s fixable.

Once I place a hold on some media, I would like the mobile site to show the place status of my hold. The full site does provide this information.  I use the mobile app often and understand it is a work in progress.

**Developer response:** This is a wonderful idea. We have submitted it to our development team. We don't currently have a timeline, but it has been planned on a 2020 roadmap. Thank you for using the Toledo Library app.

I don't know why it took me so long to check to see if the library had an app. I have used the website for years on my phone and it's annoying having to login every time I want to check on my books. I also found no place online to change my home branch. I hated having to scroll and scroll to find the branch i currently use. Not a big deal I know but when I'm requesting 10 books and having to find it each time it gets old. 

I downloaded the app and changed my home branch within the first 30 seconds. And immediately requested 3 new books to read :)
