Everything works great online, just can’t check my orders or place new ones in the app rn 💔 ### 2/5 — Orders *2022-11-05, version 1.3.45* Its been almost two since i purchased two mangas from this app, I was expecting them to ship then in 2 weeks but its passed that, and the shipping is too expensive, Dont get me wrong, i like the app, but i hate the shipping, I hope shipping becomes cheaper one day. ### 4/5 — 😢 *2022-03-04, version 1.3.45* When your to broke to buy ### 2/5 — Don’t expect items to deliver on time *2021-11-02, version 1.3.45* The app itself is fine. The problem is, there have been delays after delays for nearly two years. I ordered an item that ended up costing me $87 back in the very beginning of August. I haven’t received any confirmation about it being on its way. Everytime I do try to reach out in regards to my item, only customer service I get is “items from our warehouse are delayed”. What was originally supposed to be a week delivery time has turned into two months with no sign of my package being delivered. No refunds, no apologies or anything. Not even a discount to make up for being a loyal customer. Don’t order from here. The app sometimes has trouble saving wishlists or products I want to be notified about when restocked. ### 5/5 — Tokyo Otaku Mode App Review *2020-02-01, version 1.3.43* This app is an excellent version of the online website. You can easily search for whatever you want and manage your account, orders, etc. Being used to the website, it was easy to understand the way it was setup. I only have to issues with the app. The first is that it will not show me items that are out of stock when I search. You can do this on the website, but not the app. Secondly, it only shows what I have wishlisted if it is in the default wishlist. This means that I can’t see anything in custom wishlists. They aren’t major issues, but can be slightly annoying. Overall, I really like the app. It can be really nice to just open the app instead of having to open my browser and type in their website. ### 4/5 — Pas de mode paysage pour l’iPad! *2020-01-12, version 1.3.41* Très bonne application mais na pas de mode paysage pour l’iPad!!! ### 5/5 — Best place to buy. *2020-01-02, version 1.3.40* This is the best place you can go to to get real figures at a good price. They have about everything Japanese in it as well. The variety spans from figures to plushies all the way to kitchen goods. Tokyo Otaku mode also offers good free shipping deals, other customers reviews, and great descriptions on what you are buying. The shipping is very secure where your item won’t get damaged. ### 5/5 — Well Designed App *2019-12-07, version 1.3.40* This app is great for all Otaku fans out there, great product and special edition items. Though, I am looking forward TOM to have more limited edition products and coverages of product so we all can focus on the new items on one platform. Also there are a few categories on the app that doesn’t show up at all and making you to go to the website and this might just be the iOS version. Every time I open the app it’s a blank screen ### 1/5 — Trash *2022-09-28, version 1.3.45* Honestly, if you actually want to receive your order without it being delayed for over a year (not exaggerating) after you pay a ton for shipping, don’t use this trash website. Go to amiami or literally anything else, such a garbage site 👍 ### 1/5 — Unprofessional and a scam *2022-07-15, version 1.3.45* To start off, the one figure I ever received was in excellent condition and arrived quickly. The problem I have is how this company runs things. I purchased a prize figure set to release in March of 2022, but I was notified that it would be delayed until April. April passed and it was a week in May when I finally got an email that said my figure was delayed again, until August. Not only was I in the dark for over a month about what happened to my figure but now I have to wait 8 months for a figure that was released everywhere else as early as October 2021, 10 months after Tokyo Otaku Mode gets their stock. I know this since people started reviewing the figure on YouTube during that month when they all got theirs. The membership is a scam and not worth the money. The reason for this is that if you get the membership and renew it, yes you pay $14.99 and get $16.50 in points back but nowhere does it say you could only use $11 at a time. I saved points from the first figure so now I have the $5.50 and a few more dollars stuck on Tokyo Otaku Mode. It’s unfair to be forced to buy another figure to not let the points go to waste since not having a membership will cause the points to expire. Allow people to cancel their preorders for excessive wait times and be clear about your membership program, playing with your customers money is very unprofessional. ### 1/5 — Googleアカウントでログイン出来ません *2022-05-16, version 1.3.45* エラー 403: disallowed_useragent って言うエラーが出ている為、ログイン出来てません。初っ端から使い物になりません。 ### 1/5 — Cannot login with email *2021-05-13, version 1.3.45* Cannot login with email on the app. It says: “Error. I had trouble purchasing stuff for literally a week (was never able to buy the goods), and even hit them up about it for assistance but got no response. I get that the covid pandemic is happening but that’s no excuse for bad service, at least reply smh. When I hit the menu you button, the whole thing is black, so I can’t navigate it. I have to randomly tap somewhere and hope I chose what I wanted. And when I want to sign in to my account, the text is white on white background. Why? I really like how everything is packaged and little clear file that has my order information in is a nice touch. The figure I just received is probably one of my favorites as well and it came in with no damage. The one thing I always get scared of is that shipping might damage the item but they carefully packaged it. I look forward to making more orders with them. I also recommend Tom point system if you buy a lot of figures as I do. My issue is that I can only pull up my first favorites list, but I have a ton! If we could just be able to manage our favorites in a similar fashion as seen on the website, I’d be very pleased. All things considered, it’s a minor gripe (which is why I chose not to dock any stars) but I’d like to see that fixed in the future. Other than that, love the interface! There’s also a premium version that gives you many bonuses and I think it’s really worth it.
