Better food here than any other app! Infinitely better food and faster delivery than uber eats. I arrived in Tulum from America and was using Uber eats for a while, and I was never really impressed with anything I ordered which was shocking because I heard how great the food was in Tulum. Then when I heard about this app, I realized what they were talking about. The food here is. So much better than anything on uber eats. 100x better. And way faster!

I don’t know why I see bad reviews but my food came within 30 minutes of ordering. I messaged tomato.mx since it was my first time using the app and they immediately responded. This place takes order and sloooooooowly fills them. If there’s no delivery driver and you are sitting at home hungry, no one will respond to your WhatsApp.

Watch out you’ll get ripped off cash like I did. The delivery drivers (not all) will purposely try to scam you by being sneaky. Also the customer service does nothing to help if you get wrong or bad food… I’ve had food poisoning twice from this place because they take so long to deliver. Go out and get your own food, save yourself!

This is the most trash app I’ve ever used, nothing works. There’s no way to contact the driver or the restaurant . Only reason people use it is because they have a monopoly in tulum.

We are sorry for your experience, but you can contact our customer service easily from the app, it’s strange you didn’t find it because you can do it from the help section and also when you have an ongoing order, you can contact us with a simple click. Our customer support agents are always there to help, if you can tell us more what made the difficulty for you, we can check it and help you to sort out any problems you have had.

I used tomato 3 times since we’ve been vacationing in Tulum and all 3 times we have been charged an extra $30-50 USD on our credit cards. I’ve had to dispute it to the point that my credit card has blocked them. They said they’ve blocked tomato with numerous customers for the same reason. Two of the three meals were cold and the service agent on WhatsApp was incredibly rude. I deleted the app… hell no!
