No empathy. App is a joke ### 1/5 — Zero customer service *2024-03-04* This place takes order and sloooooooowly fills them. If there’s no delivery driver and you are sitting at home hungry, no one will respond to your WhatsApp. ### 1/5 — Terrible Scam Artists *2023-06-18, version 2.5* Watch out you’ll get ripped off cash like I did. The delivery drivers (not all) will purposely try to scam you by being sneaky. Also the customer service does nothing to help if you get wrong or bad food… I’ve had food poisoning twice from this place because they take so long to deliver. Go out and get your own food, save yourself! ### 1/5 — Worst delivery app I’ve ever used *2023-03-20* This is the most trash app I’ve ever used, nothing works. There’s no way to contact the driver or the restaurant . Only reason people use it is because they have a monopoly in tulum. **Developer response:** Hello! Our customer support agents are always there to help, if you can tell us more what made the difficulty for you, we can check it and help you to sort out any problems you have had. ### 1/5 — Scammers! *2023-01-18, version 2.4* I used tomato 3 times since we’ve been vacationing in Tulum and all 3 times we have been charged an extra $30-50 USD on our credit cards. I’ve had to dispute it to the point that my credit card has blocked them. They said they’ve blocked tomato with numerous customers for the same reason. Two of the three meals were cold and the service agent on WhatsApp was incredibly rude. I deleted the app… hell no! ### 1/5 — Restos “always busy and not taking orders” hmmm *2023-01-05* This app is super suspicious – I have tried countless times and everything is fine until I go to put my credit card in (US visa then Mastercard, then cash) and then it says they have “suspended taking orders and to try back in 10 to 15 minutes”. Super suspect - why it doesn’t come up until I finish putting my credit card number – US credit card. Even if I say cash, it says orders suspended. I have tried with six different restaurants at 9:30 PM. This is crazy. **Developer response:** Hello! We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. Food comes quick, reliable and with low delivery costs. I arrived in Tulum from America and was using Uber eats for a while, and I was never really impressed with anything I ordered which was shocking because I heard how great the food was in Tulum. Then when I heard about this app, I realized what they were talking about. The food here is. So much better than anything on uber eats. 100x better.
