So many hours of fun! This version is very glitchy with the sound going in and out. The game also freezes a lot. Some of the moves like backflipping can't be done on the iPhone. The graphics are fantastic thus the glitchiness and lack of some movements can be overlooked. TR3 is still buggy. The controls themselves require a conversions process of switching between “modern” and “tank” to progress at all in the game on some sections. it’s still very good and the bonus adventures are brilliant too. When there is sound in general it often glitches. Gameplay also glitches from time to time. Lara becomes stuck in view mode. Lara also gets caught or lost when going through small spaces making it difficult to control or disorientating. But the sound issue totally ruins the atmosphere and immersion. C’est insupportable, surtout à ce prix ! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Ein absolut grandioses Retro-Paket, auch wenn die Steuerung manchmal etwas nervt *2026-08-22* Ich muss mir einfach mal die Zeit nehmen, eine ausführliche Bewertung für diese Trilogie zu schreiben, weil man hier wirklich merkt, wie viel Liebe zum Detail in dem Projekt steckt. Man bekommt mit diesen drei alten Klassikern samt aller historischen Add-ons einfach einen unfassbaren Umfang geboten, der einen für Dutzende, wenn nicht sogar hunderte Stunden an den Bildschirm fesselt. Es ist heutzutage ja leider eine absolute Seltenheit geworden, dass man ein Videospiel kauft, einen fairen Festpreis bezahlt und danach komplett in Ruhe gelassen wird. Hier gibt es keine nervigen Paywalls, keine künstlichen Wartezeiten und absolut keine Mikrotransaktionen, die einem den Spielspaß verderben wollen. Man zahlt einmal und kriegt dafür ein fertiges, ehrliches Spiel. Dazu kommt diese fantastische Präsentation. Die Entwickler haben die Optik wunderschön modernisiert, ohne dass der typische, melancholische und geheimnisvolle Charme der Originale verloren gegangen ist. Dass man jederzeit per Knopfdruck live zwischen der neuen Grafik und dem alten Look wechseln kann, ist einfach ein genialer Einfall, der den Nostalgiefaktor noch mal massiv nach oben treibt. Man vergleicht automatisch ständig, wie gut die neue Beleuchtung, die Texturen und die Wassereffekte geworden sind. Auch kleinere Quality-of-Life-Verbesserungen wie die Boss-Lebensanzeigen, Errungenschaften oder der integrierte Fotomodus fügen sich wunderbar ein, ohne das Spielgefühl zu verfälschen. Allerdings muss man bei aller Lobhudelei auch ehrlich bleiben und einen Kritikpunkt ansprechen, der im Alltag definitiv auffällt: die Steuerung. Egal, für welche Variante man sich entscheidet – weder die originalgetreue Tank-Steuerung noch der neue Versuch mit der Analog-Steuerung fühlen sich in jeder Situation zu einhundert Prozent flüssig oder präzise an. Gerade in hektischen Momenten, wenn man Millimeterarbeit bei Sprüngen leisten muss oder schnell ausweichen will, reagiert Lara manchmal etwas störrisch oder hakelig. Man rutscht dadurch das eine oder andere Mal unverschuldet in den Abgrund, was natürlich kurzzeitig für echten Frust sorgt. Trotz dieses kleinen Mankos bei der Steuerung überwiegt das Positive hier aber so extrem, dass man einfach nicht anders kann, als die volle Punktzahl zu geben. Wer mit den leichten Ecken und Kanten der Steuerung leben kann oder sich eben ein bisschen reinfuchst, bekommt hier eines der besten und respektvollsten Remaster, die es aktuell auf dem Markt gibt. The underwater parts play better with the older version.Good and lots of exploration but they are not and never were easy games. And the touch controls work well for what it is. Recommend to use a controller for this kind of game. But the touch controls work well enough to get through the game as is.
