### 5/5 — The kids love Tommy

*2026-09-29*

Full disclosure: my wife created this app and my nephew is the artist who brought Tommy to life, so I'm biased. But I've watched kids use it, and what stood out is how quickly they connect with Tommy the turtle. They talk to him like a friend, and that makes it easier for them to open up about how they feel. My wife made it after seeing how hard it was for our child to explain their emotions, and my nephew's drawings gave Tommy the warmth that kids respond to. If your child has a hard time saying what they feel, Tommy is a sweet way to start the conversation
