The promotion was $5. off for the first month. Sorry, no refund. At Quality Carwash on Waverly and Chicago Drive. I talked to those on Adams and 96 th and told them the problem continues. When i downloaded the app the letters that said “ sign up new member” and “sign in “ for members were so distorted that i could not read them. So i pressed the second one thinking i would set it up with that one. Once in i could see that was for members who already had a login. Today, I believed it was the last day of my monthly subscription, but I was unexpectedly charged $25. When I went to the car wash to address the issue, I was simply told that nothing could be done. I did not knowingly sign up for a per-wash charge, so this appears to be an issue or glitch in their system. It’s disappointing that after being a loyal customer and referring so many people, there was no effort to resolve a $25 charge or even properly address my concern. Unfortunately, I’ve decided to walk away from Tommy’s Car Wash. There are plenty of other car wash options along Liberia Avenue and Centreville Road, and many of them regularly offer promotions and competitive deals. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and will also encourage my friends and family to explore those options and carefully monitor any charges made to their credit cards. ### 1/5 — Contradicting billing indicators *2026-08-11, version 4.0.8* The Tommy’s app is terrible at providing clear billing information. When applying a 3 month subscription, a user is allowed to uncheck auto renew, but a second canteen forces a user to acknowledge they may be billed monthly. It makes no sense. The cashier was friendly and helpful with my deciding what wash program that I wanted to get. And once my wash was done (loved the process, especially the little extra rinse at the end to get the soap off of the windshield and the extra powerful dryers, I was helped through the use of the app by Avia.
