This is a waste of time and they definitely need to fix it. This product is EXPENSIVE So it is reasonable to want a quality product!! ### 1/5 — Annoying *2021-09-10* I love the idea for the app, and it’s easy to navigate, however, the lighting option for the Board within the app, doesn’t work. Every time I try to change the option for the lights, it boots me out of the app. When I initially turned the hover board on, it was flashing random colors. I installed the app, changed the color to solid, and haven’t been able to set it back to random again. It’s quite irritating. This is a birthday gift for my son, and it’s a very expensive gift, and that means if the item is advertising different options for the item, and the options don’t work, that’s kind of a big deal. You also can’t change speeds or drive modes at all as it just goes back to the default settings. So, you’re getting quite a bit less functionality than what you paid for. Thank you Tomaloo! ### 5/5 — Tomoloo *2020-05-13* Great app I think it needs to be allowed on iPads as well ### 5/5 — Bluetooth connection not intuitive - BUT IT WORKS!! *2019-08-26, version 3.8* It is disappointing that Tomoloo isn't responding to address all the issues with the app. However, I just got the electric scooter and was almost pulling my hair out getting it to connect to Bluetooth - seriously I got pretty upset because I bought this scooter to commute 10 miles to work and I need the battery to last, but you can only toggle the scooter lights with the app. I can't have the environmental lights sucking the juice out of the battery when I need it to last! The app instructs you to pair the device to your phone before you do anything else. This is not the case. THE SCOOTER WILL NOT SHOW UP IN YOUR PHONE'S BLUETOOTH SETTINGS! ***Here is what you need to do:*** - Scroll through the Bluetooth setup instructions on the app. They are useless because your phone won't find the scooter directly. Just scroll past these instructions and go to the next step. - Sign up and log in. - From the main screen, TAP THE BLUETOOTH ICON IN THE UPPER LEFT-HAND CORNER. - Select your scooter so there is a checkmark next to it. - Enter default passcode: 000000 (I don't know yet how to change the passcode, sorry). - It connects to your scooter! The Bluetooth icon appears on your scooter and you are good to go, and adjust all settings! And the scooter responds to all the commands FAST! BONUS FEATURE: Tap the settings icon in the upper right hand corner from the homescreen. ***YOU CAN ALSO CHANGE TO MPH!*** Continue playing with the features in the app. This is all I did and came to write this review to help others, but who knows what else it can do. Sorry to all those who returned their scooters for this reason. I was ready to do so myself! Thankfully I am very stubborn (and had a clue from someone who left an Amazon review saying Bluetooth setup was "not intuitive"...they didn't leave instructions, but this told me it was possible and I just needed to figure it out!) Tomoloo, please update your instructions! So far, it seems like you have a FANTASTIC product, and THESE REVIEWS WILL KILL YOUR SALES! If you want to succeed, good information is key because word will spread that things don't work, and people won't buy. Good luck to everyone else!
