### 4/5 — Great UI and ease of use

*2026-07-18, version 2.17.22*

Tomorrow.io is an attractive and easy to use weather app that I find myself appreciating when I want to know specific conditions (not hidden behind menus).
It has a great user interface and is very clean.

The one improvement I’d like is to see is to choose the weather data source as options. Bonus points for local open weather data access will be awarded!

### 4/5 — Radar optimization

*2026-06-13, version 2.17.21*

For ease of operation, if the radar section focused more on quickly loading current radar images instead of taking additional time to process questionable forecasting, that’d be strongly preferred. Keep up the good work, thank you!

### 3/5 — Work on the app

*2026-05-13*

Update the app with new layout and features!!! It’s same old app.

### 2/5 — Only a yearly sub of £21.99 with no trial period or monthly plan to test it out first

*2026-03-25, version 2.17.9*

Been looking for a replacement to Dark Sky for a while. Unfortunately I can’t attest to its capabilities because premium is paywalled for £21.99 annually. No clear option to find the pricing listing in the “In app purchases” section on the App Store, which lists all kinds of pricing durations.

### 4/5 — Clean, simple and accurate

*2026-03-18*

Widgets and simple and informative. Only thing I would add is a lock screen widget. But overall one of the best weather apps out there. Forecast is not always accurate especially for rain in Bengaluru

### 4/5 — Nice fresh look

*2026-02-19, version 2.17.9*

so far so good ... i'm interested to see how it does with lightning strikes

### 4/5 — Meteo preciso

*2026-02-10, version 2.17.9*

Applicazione affidabile. METTERE LINGUA ITALIANA. Sicuramente aggiungere la lingua italiana farà voglia di comprare la versione pro. Forza

### 3/5 — Inaccurate

*2026-01-26, version 2.17.9*

I’m looking out the window at 24” of fresh snow that fell overnight while this app is telling me I’m looking at 11”.

### 3/5 — Fantastic accuracy, terrible widgets

*2025-12-14, version 2.17.9*

The home screen widgets are bad, nearly useless. Please copy Windy for information density or Carrot for the options. Zero lock screen widgets at all.

### 4/5 — Complication for Apple Watch

*2025-12-11, version 2.17.9*

Complication for Apple Watch is missing. It’s not always convenient to run a separate application on your watch. It would be more convenient if real-time weather data were displayed directly on the Apple Watch screen as a complication.

### 4/5 — Great interface but 2 issues

*2025-12-01, version 2.17.9*

I have been using this app on my iPhone for a couple years. I like the interface alot but the forecast is sometimes confusing. The forecast will say it is sunny but at the same time the hourly forecast or the next precipitation chart shows rain all day. No hour without rain and even 100% chance of rain and yet the summary forecast and icon by the day shows full sun. The detail seems to be more accurate so that is what I go by. The second issue is that I would like to see what the temps and rainfall were on previous days and can’t do that.

### 2/5 — Inaccurate in central NC

*2025-11-15, version 2.17.9*

Nice concept (e.g., use of AI), but inaccurate in my area. For example, ALL other weather data services, including local TV news sources, say the low tonight will be ~58, but T.IO forecasts 48. I have seen this multiple times is the last couple of weeks. Because T.IO also reports pollen, I would really like to see it work

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App doesn’t open — asks for settings

*2026-06-10, version 2.17.21*

6/10/2026 using iPad Mini 5 with iPadOS 26.5.
t.io.weather is presumed to be Version 2.17.21 but the fact that I can’t open it keeps me from double-checking the version.

The app opens to a very poorly designed “Welcome to Tomorrow Weather…Customize your experience.”
You are allowed to select an option or click Maybe Later for two more screens.
The last page requires (yes, requires) you to give a location.
> There is NO place for you to type a location. Clever.
> Why not use the locations (home/work or whatever) that were already available?

All of these options could be done in Settings. Why force it on me?

Just let me open the app and use it!

This used to be a 5-star app, now it’s a can’t open app.

### 1/5 — Cannot activate after purchase

*2026-05-03, version 2.17.9*

I got the app and then subscribed. But the app will not recognize the purchase. Contacted vendor but no response for days.

### 1/5 — Abandoned

*2026-03-29, version 2.17.9*

No support

### 1/5 — Money Hungry

*2026-01-26, version 2.17.9*

As time goes by, they put more and more features behind Premium.

### 1/5 — You have to pay for forecasts past 6 hours

*2025-11-25, version 2.17.9*

It only gives you 4 hour forecasts. 6+ hours it going to cost you. What a joke! Deleted!

### 1/5 — Inconsistent weather advice

*2025-11-18, version 2.17.9*

This app is not that good. It will suggest that rain will be approaching in a timeframe .
The rain does not arrive - this is a common occurrence
Very ordinary app.
Don’t bother downloading it

### 1/5 — Missing Vital Info!

*2025-11-10, version 2.17.9*

This doesn't show alerts that the NWS gives. You know the ones that say snow storm until Monday at 6pm or something.

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2025-10-25, version 2.17.9*

About half the time I open this app it shows something went wrong, a storm has hit us.

### 1/5 — Lightning Notifications Turn Themselves Off

*2025-07-30, version 2.17.9*

On the free trial, I turn on notifications for lightning. This is my main use case. I’m testing this to see if it’s worth making the purchase of a premium version. So far, the answer is a clear no.

Whenever I return to the app, these notifications are turned off. This happens again and again.

### 1/5 — Palantir? Really?

*2025-07-14, version 2.17.9*

Tomorrow is partnering up with Palantir. Our data is no longer remotely safe. I’m deleting the app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Please add lightning complication for nearest lightning strikes for the apple watch app

*2026-06-08, version 2.17.21*

Please add lightning complication for nearest lightning strikes for the apple watch app

### 5/5 — Decently reliable

*2026-05-10, version 2.17.9*

When It Comes To hourly rain prediction, most of the time it’s more accurate than the other apps

### 5/5 — Best app

*2026-04-27, version 2.17.9*

Very good

### 5/5 — Best weather app

*2026-04-12, version 2.17.9*

This is the only weather app that you’re able to pinpoint exactly where the weather is. In most apps you might be getting weather 15 or 20 miles away because the app is set for the general city and in parts of the country like Chicago the weather can change dramatically when you’re only five or 6 miles away.

### 5/5 — Mr

*2025-12-26, version 2.17.9*

The best accurate app I have ever used

### 5/5 — Good

*2025-12-07, version 2.17.9*

Very good app and accurate in my location.

### 5/5 — Some suggestions for an accurate but clunky API

*2025-08-10, version 2.17.9*

Could be visually more helpful in providing granular detail with better graphics (a brolly alert 🌂 or a poor Air Quality alert eg for those exercising outdoors😷). Accuracy % eg 99% of 1-day say and 85% for 7-day. US forecasts use % probabilities; UK users are perfectly capable of calibrating that information too.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2025-08-01, version 2.17.9*

The accuracy of this data is mind blowing. It’s a must to know the real micro weather and forecast.

### 5/5 — Top

*2025-07-26*

Perfection

### 5/5 — Better than AccuWeather

*2025-07-26, version 2.17.9*

This app is, in my opinion, is so much better than AccuWeather.
I remember one time I had downloaded AccuWeather and after a few days it MADE me pay.
This app has a premium option that costs money, but you 100% don’t have to get it AT ALL.
The app is really accurate. For increased accuracy, you can type in your home address and the weather forecasting will be even more accurate than before!!
This app will NOT track you if you type in your home address. I’ve been using this app for months and months and it’s a pure weather app through and through.
It’s way better than the default weather app.
This app shows visibility, temp, feels like, air quality, a lightning watch when it storms, and so much more!
You can go into the app setting and turn on notifications as well as some things like daily weather forecasts, when it’s gonna rain, and more! All for free!!
