Forgot device, uninstalled/reinstalled app. Restarted phone. Just won’t connect. I can connect phone to it manually and use as a speaker. ### 3/5 — Good, but needs updating *2023-10-11* I bought Vox’s VT40X amplifier as I needed something smaller that traveled easy. I also liked the idea that you could run the amp off an iPad and that it was a hybrid amp, with a tube for a pre-amp. The effects that come with this app are good quality, but some a bit redundant. The amp models are way overloaded with distortion-heavy-metal models- more than you could ever want or use. The other issues I have is that it’s obviously out-date software and hasn’t been updated in several years. Vox should add some more effects, like Octaver, auto-say, etc if if wants to eliminate the need for separate pedals. Sure would be great to also be able to share and download user-created apps, like similar software does. However it now no longer works for my Iphone or Ipad. The only thing it works with is my Macbook which not what I want balanced on the amp to change the sounds. HELP!!!!! A great amp, I have various leads but they only work with the Macbook, so it’s not a lead issue. Under iOS 16.7 the software does not establish a MIDI connection to VOX Adio Air GT and is therefore completely useless! ### 1/5 — Non si che collega *2023-07-01, version 1.4.0* App inutilizzabile, non si collega con il VT20X, funziona solo con il Mac! ### 1/5 — L’app non riesce a connettersi al BLE midi per il controllo *2023-06-06, version 1.4.0* Possiedo un Vox Adio Air GT e, con la versione “attuale”(1.4.0) dell’app Toneroom, sia aprendola da un iPhone (modello 14 plus) che aprendola da un iPad (9th generation), entrambi con iOS alla versione 16.4.1, non riesco più a connettermi al Bluetooth (BLE) midi, essenziale per controllare in modo wireless i parametri del Vox Adio Air GT, mentre continua a funzionare correttamente soltanto la connessione Bluetooth audio. Infatti, nonostante io riesca a vedere il device avente nome “Adio Air GT midi”, tale device risulta “not connected” e cliccando sullo stesso l’app tenta, per qualche secondo, di connettersi: quando clicco il device passa dallo stato “Not connected” a “connecting”, con relativa rotellina che gira, ma dopo qualche secondo di attesa esso torna su “Not connected”. In passato, con versioni di iOS precedenti , funzionava tutto perfettamente ma, purtroppo, non ricordo esattamente il preciso numero di versione iOS dopo il quale il sistema ha smesso di funzionare. Da sistema operativo Win10 invece tutto continua a funzionre correttamente, sia il Bluetooth audio che il BLE midi, quindi il problema sta certamente nell’ app Toneroom, che non è stata aggiornata per seguire gli avanzamenti di iOS. ### 1/5 — All I ask is that it WORKS! *2023-03-11* Got an Adio Air GT and no matter what I do following instructions and going rogue in desperation it won’t connect to the app!! It shouldn’t even be in the app store in that form. ### 1/5 — Cannot connect to bluetooth *2023-01-22* App functionality is good but without bluetooth worthless to me ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — 問題なく使えました。 *2025-08-30* アンプ本体のマニュアル操作で満足していましたが、アプリダウンロードして、Windows版は接続できて、iPhone版は純正アダプターが高くて、２年くらい放置し、最近やっと接続ケーブルアダプターを入手しました。アップルの純正カメラアダプターは必須です。 もっと早くに買っておけばよかった。 VT100Xと、iPhone7＋のOSバージョン15.〇〇で動きました。 繋がって、自分で本体マニュアル操作でメモリーした条件をスマホ画面で見た時は感動です。 最近のアンプはBluetooth接続みたいですが、VT100Xはモデリングの種類が多く、実際使うのはオーソドックスなものになるんですが、繋がった安心感は感無量です。 面倒くさがりなので、iPhoneの画面操作もできると安心して、アンプ本体の操作で十分だと触らなくなるんですけど。同じデータを別の個体に移す時に使うか？本体いじっちゃうかも。 でも繋がって動いた安心感は感無量ですね。 ### 5/5 — Good app! *2025-03-08* Could use the presets ### 5/5 — 嗨 *2025-01-19* 没有中文 ### 5/5 — Opens Up Many Possibilities w/ Valvetronix Amps *2023-01-02* I have been using Vox amplifiers for the better part of 2 decades with my Fender Telecaster. When my previous Valvetronix died, I picked up one of the newer models and it was compatible with the Vox Tone Room software. As I said in the title, this program opens up so many possibilities. There are some tones and amp models that are not available through the knob on the amp and are only available via the software. Using the software to take control of the amplifier just gives me more options to help me find the right tone, whether it be replicating Keith Richards, EVH, Stevie Ray, or anyone else. The interface is really easy to use, and I like that you can see a picture of the amp model you are replicating, rather than just going off a setting on the dial. I also like the way it lets you setup your virtual pedalboard. Saving custom programs to the amp is also very easy. If you own a Vox Valvetronix amp, this program is a must. ### 5/5 — Comodissima!! *2022-01-15, version 1.4.0* L’ho scoperta per caso guardando una recensione di un mio ampli a batterie Vox Air. And good luck finding any patches. ### 5/5 — Vt100x vos *2021-11-16* Tone Room fonctionne sous iPad Pro avec iOS 15, la connections USB avec un hub, difficile, mais une fois établie, on navigue dans le menu et le vt100x répond aux commandes. ### 5/5 — Ya funciona bluetooth *2021-11-07, version 1.4.0* Hay que actualizar el amplificador pulsando encender y luego seguido los botones a la vez (bank - 2 - 4) se encenderán las cuatro luces luego se conecta al usb del Mac y se instala vox adio system updater v1.02 se reinicia el amplificador y listo La actualización se descarga de la web del amplificador ### 5/5 — VOX最高！Bluetoothの接続も調子良し！ *2021-08-01* 2年前からAdio air gtとTone Room使っています。 iPhoneとBluetooth接続しながらTone Roomで 音を手元で自在に操れるので、すごく便利に 使っています。 Bluetooth接続なので、練習中いちいちAdio air gt 本体まで歩いて音を変えてまた席に戻るという わずらわしい手間がないのでギターの練習に集中 できとても良いです。 もちろん、Bluetoothスピーカーとしても使用 出来ます。 Bluetoothでオーディオ接続出来てもTone Roomが 接続出来ないとの書き込みを見たのですが、 ひょっとして歯車マークでBluetooth接続する時 「Adio Air GT Speaker」と、「Adio Air GT MIDI」 両方ともBluetooth接続しなければならないこと 気がついていないのでは？ 違ったら申し訳ないございません。 自分はTone Room をBluetooth接続で ずーと調子良く使っています。 ### 5/5 — Works perfectly! *2021-05-03* I have used this software with my Vox VTX-40 live at gigs.
