## What is Tone Switch?

Tap the colour, pass the ring. Tone Switch is an endless one-tap neon
reflex arcade: every tap changes your colour, and the rotating ring ahead
of you only lets through the colour that matches it.

Guide a neon creature up an endless tower. Rings split into coloured arcs
rotate across your path. You have one job: pass every ring in your own
colour.

The order never changes — cyan, magenta, lime, amber — so you can plan
two taps ahead. When you die there is no luck to blame. There is only
your timing.

THE HARD PART
Crossing a ring means crossing its circle twice: in at the bottom, out at
the top. The ring keeps turning in between. So on most rings you have to
tap once more while you are inside it. The whole game is built on that
one sentence.

ZONES THAT KEEP DEEPENING
• Awakening — wide arcs, a lazy spin. The game teaches itself.
• Rhythm — every ring reverses the last one. Your muscle memory stops
  working.
• Needle — arcs narrow, but there are no lethal gaps yet.
• Hollow — the first lethal gap appears. Waiting will not save you.
• Vortex — 45-degree arcs and one gap. The ring is a hazard now, not a
  target.
• Prism — a fifth colour, a second gap, and rings that breathe.

POWERS, IN THE RUN
Freeze, shield, slow, phantom, wildcard and more — all collected during a
run, at the same odds for everyone. None of them are for sale. Taking one
usually costs an extra tap: you spend the room you needed to reach the
exit colour.

COINS, QUESTS, STREAKS
Spend the coins you earn on creature forms and trail effects, clear daily
quests, keep your day streak alive. A few rare pieces are not for sale at
any price — they unlock only by playing well. No cosmetic touches
gameplay: the leaderboard compares skill, not balances.

Powers no longer cover the one thing you need to see. The color wash, the shield bubble and the burst of sparks all sat on the creature; now your own color stays readable.

The power button and its labels have moved into the empty strip at the edge of the screen, so nothing covers the ring you are crossing.

Sign in and your record comes with you: the same record on every device, and back again after a reinstall.

You can now play without ads, or unlock the exclusive cosmetics. One payment, yours for good.
New free rewards: double your coins after a run, open two free chests a day, reroll a daily quest for free, and try any cosmetic for three runs before buying it.
Six new exclusive cosmetics.
Guest players can now change their leaderboard name too.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-15

Fixed the bug that could kill you unfairly inside a ring: a crossing is now decided the moment you enter it.
Difficulty rebalanced. The climb starts gentler, and a sixth zone has been added.
Powers reworked. You can see what changes when you spend one, and they all live on a single button in the corner.

A revive is offered after every death, and the revive token you bought is finally usable.
