That includes hearing any real world example of what they claim to provide. Scam. ### 2/5 — Looks nice, but everything is locked behind payment *2026-08-04, version 1.1.6* The app takes you through a lengthy onboarding and as soon as you finish you can't access any tone/amp configs for any song (even the one used in the onboarding) without buying a subscription. Really poor UX to assume I will buy a subscription without actually being able to search for the song I want and verify my amp settings sound right. It's a typical AI generated app using AI in the background to return an AI generated response with little consideration to what a user actually expects to get from the app. ### 3/5 — Subscription required. *2026-08-04, version 1.1.6* This app is really good, only if a subscription wasn’t required to play any song of your choice. If you want to play almost any song of your choice, it wants you to pay. If I were you, just look up the tone using AI such as ChatGPT using your gear. It’s done really well for me. It’s subscription too, not even a buy to own. It leads you on and lets you select all of your gear, then it bends you over right after you’re done selecting. Also, only lets you select one pedal in your rig. Tone is built off the EQ, even things like SRV tones which are very mid heavy, are easily replicated on a blues jr. However this app says the eq is 6 across all 3 bands, which sounds awful. It’s an unfortunate waste of money and I wish it were better because it’s such a cool idea, but this just doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2026-08-26, version 1.1.8* I’m not usually one to write reviews, but I’m sick of apps hiding the fact that they are paid services until the very moment you’ve finished setting up. It’s scummy. Whatever happened to free tier content? Waste of my time.
