## What is ToneDNA?

Every guitarist knows the moment: a tone comes on and you have to know how it was made. ToneDNA listens to the recording and builds the answer - a complete, playable signal chain, matched to your guitar, in about a minute.

HOW IT WORKS

1. HEAR IT - Load a song, or capture audio playing on your device. Working from a full mix? ToneDNA can isolate the guitar first.

2. BUILD IT - The matcher auditions hundreds of rigs against the recording, derives a speaker cabinet from the sound itself, and fits every level to a capture of your own dry playing - so the rig is tuned to your guitar and your hands, not a generic profile.

3. PLAY IT - Plug in and play through the result live, with latency low enough to gig on.

WHAT GETS BUILT

- Amp voicings from clean American sparkle to modern high gain
- Drive, fuzz, boost and compressor pedals - stacked the way the matcher hears them on the record
- Delays with tape character, reverbs, chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo and rotary
- A speaker cabinet derived from the recording itself
- Stereo width measured from the record's own ambience

Where a recording's rig is well documented, ToneDNA starts from the circuits the record actually used and fits every level from your playing - and the saved preset says so.

MAKE IT YOURS

Every block in the chain is open: tweak drive, swap the amp, pull a delay back, or remove what you don't need. Save the rig, tag it, and build set lists.

ON STAGE

Perform mode puts one song at a time in front of you - big type, next/previous, a tuner and a bypass, nothing to fumble. Step through your set from the screen or a MIDI controller, wired or Bluetooth.

TUNED TO YOUR GUITAR

A ten-second dry capture is all it takes, and your playing never leaves the device - the matching runs on your own hardware. Working from a full mix, the span you mark is sent up to isolate the guitar; it is held in memory only and never stored. Looking up a record's documented rig sends the song and artist, never audio.

WHAT IT COSTS

One Tone Scan builds one rig. Three are included to start, and more come in one-time packs - no subscriptions. Every rig you build is yours to keep, edit and play forever.

GOOD TO KNOW

- A USB audio interface is the way to play live through ToneDNA; the app is fully usable without one for building rigs and browsing them.
- iPhone, iPad and Mac.
