## What is Tonely?

Tonely is a professional photo and video editor that runs entirely on your device. No account, no subscription, no uploads — your images never leave your iPhone or iPad.

Built on Core Image with a non-destructive pipeline: your original file is never touched. Every edit is stored as parameters, so you can come back weeks later and change any slider, or reset to the original in one tap.

PRO COLOR GRADING
• Tone curve with independent RGB, red, green and blue channels
• HSL panel — hue, saturation and luminance per color band
• Split toning for separate highlight and shadow tints
• Exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites and blacks
• Temperature, tint, saturation and vibrance

FILM LOOK
• Grain with adjustable size and intensity
• Halation for that soft cinematic bloom around highlights
• Fade for a lifted, matte black point
• Vignette, clarity, sharpness and noise reduction
• Custom borders in any color and width

PRESETS THAT ADAPT
Nine built-in looks — Film, Portrait, Landscape, B&W, Fade, Cinema, Vintage, Moody and Night. Every preset has an intensity slider, so you dial in the strength instead of accepting an all-or-nothing filter.

RECIPES
Save any combination of edits as a reusable recipe. Apply it to a single photo or batch it across an entire shoot for a consistent look across a series.

CROP AND GEOMETRY
• Freeform and fixed aspect ratios

VIDEO
Import from your Photos library or Files, apply the same color grades, trim, and adjust speed — with live preview before you export.

Native SwiftUI throughout. On iPad the editor uses the extra width for a side panel layout, so tools and preview stay visible at once. Full VoiceOver labels and Dynamic Type support.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
Everything is processed on-device. No analytics SDKs. No tracking. No servers. Photos are accessed only when you import or export, and the camera only when you open it. Your work is stored locally in the app.
