## What is Tonemash?

Write better chord progressions — and understand why they work.

Tonemash is a harmony studio for songwriters, producers, and players. Build a progression, hear it over a real groove, and let Tonemash show you smarter chord choices, richer voicings, and exactly how to play them on guitar, piano, or bass.

BUILD PROGRESSIONS FAST
• Pick any major or minor key and a style: Neo-Soul, Jazz, Classical, or Rock
• Smart suggestions offer the next chord that fits where your progression is going
• A full chord palette for every scale degree — 7ths, 9ths, 11ths, 13ths, secondary dominants, and borrowed chords
• Drag chords into your progression, swap any chord for an alternative, or roll the dice for a fresh idea

REHARMONIZE IN ONE TAP
Turn a simple progression into something sophisticated: Seventh Chords, Neo-Soul, ii-V-I, Secondary Dominants, Altered Dominants, Tritone Substitutions, and Diminished Passing chords. Added chords are highlighted so you can see what changed.

HEAR IT OVER A REAL GROOVE
Play your progression back over drum patterns — Basic, R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, EDM, Reggae, and Groove 19.

LEARN EVERY CHORD
Tap any chord to see:
• Voicings for guitar, piano, and bass
• Scales that fit, shown on the fretboard or keyboard
• Arpeggios, riffs, melodies, licks, and bass lines built on that chord

PRACTICE AND KEEP YOUR IDEAS
• Practice mode walks you through each chord in time, with adjustable tempo
• Save progressions to your account and pick them up on the web at tonemash.com
• Export your progression as MIDI for your DAW
