Only to find out they never saved at all… ### 4/5 — I love the new update but... *2020-07-24, version 2.0* I think the new updates and additions really make the program very usable. However I would really love to see a record button a play button and a stop or pause button implemented in your next update. As a composer that would be absolutely wonderful :-) Keep up the good work... ### 3/5 — Update pretty cool, but ruins old songs *2020-07-08, version 2.0* The most recent update completely jumbled up my saved songs, and the scales work in different ways so they can’t be replicated. It’s nice to see a big update after so many years, but I hate to see all my old songs unplayable. If that could be fixed, the app would be an easy 5 stars. The one feature I still miss is the ability to add a color scheme to the notes; this was my favorite feature to use in the older versions. Thanks to the developer for keeping this app going, I’ve had it for over a decade now. ### 4/5 — Amazing Application *2014-03-22, version 1.21* This is a really great app. But there is two problems that I would like fixed and added. Every time that you email the loop to someone or yourself, it takes away the echo and it looses it sound quality and sounds terrible...and it would be cool if you could change the tempo of the loops. If you want ringtones don't buy this app!!! ### 2/5 — Bad exports *2012-01-03, version 1.21* The reason I got this was because I got the free version and wanted to make ringtones with the pro version. But when you email them to yourself the delay it's included this making the ringtone sound like utter crap. Waste of money for that reason. I don't think a musical 12 tone scale would have been difficult. You can't scroll outside the matrix to add range or length. So you can't mimick a melody or make any but a few sensible chords. And the ringtones are so weak you can only hear them with a headset. However, when they get e-mailed, they arrive in a format that I can't open or import into iTunes. This would be an awesome app if that were true. There are better apps that perform the type function TonePad Pro does and are not misleading in the promotion of their product. ### 2/5 — Email doesn’t work *2022-04-09, version 2.0* I like being able to make music but when I try to export the sound to email to myself as a ringtone there is no button to send the email. This seems like a broken feature. I’m using an iPhone 11. ### 2/5 — Exports was the only reason to upgrade from free and it doesn’t work right…. *2022-03-27, version 2.0* I wrote something on the free version that I liked and hit the export button and it said upgrade to Pro for that. Ok, fair enough. So I did…and Pro was not an upgrade of the fee version but a completely different app that didn’t carry my song over. Ok…annoying but fine…I guess I’ll just rebuild it on the Pro version. Did that. Went to export…and the exported version sounded NOTHING like what was in the app slowed down version with no delay etc. Maybe the speed is a conversion issue? Tried both wav and mp3. Still no good. It was only $0.99 but a complete waste of $0.99 and more than a little misleading. I can work around this, but really…come on guys.
