### 4/5 — Advertisement CHAOS, but great app altogether.

*2025-09-30*

Every time I start a timer, ad. Every time I cancel a timer, ad. Every time I finish a timer, you guessed it: AD! Overall, good app, and I understand you are trying to earn money with advertising, but don’t you think that this is excessive for even free apps. At least you made cash, but please limit advertising to like every 20 minutes or something. It seems like you are here for only the $_$. Maybe you made a few grand from this app, and that’s amazing! But maybe you could make more money by limiting ads so more people would use it, overall increasing your money slightly? Anyway, good app, bad advertising design. I got a driving test ad before I was 10. But maybe fixing it may help you better than me.

### 3/5 — 🔵🔵🔵⚪️⚪️

*2024-09-16*

This app is great, but I feel like people who can’t pay 20 dollars should still use a non-linear version of this app. So my problem solver is: Remove in app purchases altogether. You’ve probably made at least 500 dollars from this app, and you’re not making apps anymore.

### 3/5 — Too loud game

*2020-11-16*

Keeps on kicking me out of the game and too sensitive

### 4/5 — Make it available on iMac, too!

*2016-09-18*

I love this app. What would make it better would be the ability to project it from my iMac onto the board.

### 5/5 — Very handy

*2016-05-18, version 1.2*

Anyone who has attempted to keep the noise level of a group of youngsters under control will appreciate this fun and engaging app, it’s so easy to navigate and fun to use. I have been using in my classroom and it really works effectively

### 5/5 — Suggestion

*2016-05-18, version 1.2*

This app is useful for me, it reduces the amount of times I have to remind the class to be quiet and allows the students self monitor, the graphics are pretty cute and good, and all my students love watching this

### 4/5 — Tool for classroom

*2016-05-18, version 1.2*

It has been a great tool for training my class to keep it down. Works great in the lunch room too, the app has cute design and all my pupils love it

### 5/5 — Wonderful

*2016-05-15*

This is a fantastic app for teachers like me. I’m no longer having to constantly tell my students to work quietly. They can visibly see if they are too loud and quiet each other down. This is saving my voice a lot

### 5/5 — Cool app

*2016-05-11, version 1.2*

Downloaded this on the road, best app ever. The kids can play and laugh and have fun and can see how loud they’re getting. Cute animals, nice graphics and all kids love it

### 5/5 — Very helpful app

*2016-05-09, version 1.2*

Its the first time that I found an app that helps keep kids quiet in such a cool way. My kids love it!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Cannot restore purchases

*2024-09-25*

I purchased this app years ago (as in the whole $20!), but I cannot restore my purchases, so it is useless. I cannot have the stupid ads all of the time trying to use it in my classroom! It is also disappointing to no longer have access to the rest of the backgrounds and symbols.

### 1/5 — Cannot restore purchases

### 1/5 — Too sensitive

*2020-05-19*

I got this to use on my siblings. We where sitting in a quite room, they where doing a puzzle and not talking and it was still reaching red! For context, there was five of us, in a quite room, sitting. So I turned it down to 30 (for context, that’s 40% of the default) and it was still to sensitive. So I went into my room, by myself, and sat silently, and it still registered up to orange. I kept fiddling, and, bottom line, it’s to sensitive, you’ll have to personally fiddle until it’s properly adjusted.

### 1/5 — Looks good but plagued by ads

*2019-07-05, version 1.4*

Couldn’t even get a good feel before I decided if I should buy.
The app looks good but the arrows that supposed to change from green to yellow to red didn’t work.
When trying to put it again it was just ad after ad for a long time.
Deleted- not to be dowloaded again.

### 1/5 — Good

*2017-02-19*

The fact I can get it right away with a lot more fun and addicting and I don't think that it was not immediately

### 1/5 — Doesn't even deserve one star

*2016-10-14*

This app looks great before you download it, but as soon as you attempt at use it there are stupid ads that pop up and you have to pay in order to stop them. As a teacher I don't have the time to wait for ad to finish so I can use the app. Also the kids don't don't need to exposed to ads in the classroom. Absolutely useless and ridiculous. Save your time and GBs!

### 2/5 — Expensive

*2025-09-10*

This app is expensive for what you get. I purchased it before to get all of the features and then all a sudden last year I no longer had access to all of the features because they had raised the price. It says it has multiple sound level settings but really it only has two. Very sensitive and sensitive.

### 2/5 — Too many ads

*2023-12-07*

I do speech therapy in a school setting and was hoping to use this app with some of my students. Unfortunately, I don’t think it will be a fit for me. While I understand that this is a free app, I felt like it was overkill to have an ad as I turned on AND turned off the timer. There was also an add when I attempted to change the settings. I don’t have time in a 15-30 minute session to be dealing with ads that frequently. I know I could pay to remove ads, but there are also websites the offer the same service for free and I spend a lot of money as is on materials for my students.

### 2/5 — Paid to remove the ads and ads are still there

*2021-01-26*

I love this app but very disappointed that I paid $3 to remove the ads and they are still there. Every time I click on the contact us button, the app crashes.

### 3/5 — Great app but lacks innovation

*2025-12-07, version 1.4.1*

I’ve used this app for a long time (I’m a teacher). I think it works really well. However, I wish it was upgraded to have more characters. I don’t think the app has changed in 6 years.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — My favorite noise monitoring app.

*2023-10-24*

I wish it was still going strong. It looks like it’s not being supported anymore.

### 5/5 — Okay..

*2022-09-22*

Hmm, these reviews are kinda rude. You can turn down the sensitivity in the settings.
USEFUL INFORMATION: The settings button is in the *BOTTOM LEFT HAND CORNER*

If that information wasn’t useful, then sorry. But the settings button.. IT’S THERE

### 5/5 — ???

*2022-03-25*

What’s 9 plus 10 21

### 5/5 — Encourages kids to appreciate quiet times

*2021-04-23, version 1.4.1*

Let's face it, kids will be kids. A constantly quiet child indicates something is amiss. So whilst all parents love their children to learn, discover, play, there are times when children need to be quiet. This app brings this much needed discipline with an element of enjoyment and competitiveness amongst children.

My children and I thoroughly enjoy this app, and it has encouraged them to value that quiet times are much needed at certain times of the day.

This app has made lockdown that little bit bearable with my (once) noisy adorable monsters !!!

### 5/5 — Fantastic tool for teaching volume level

*2017-11-10, version 1.3*

My two year old loves this app and so do I it has helped him learn not to yell and scream. I love because I can get on with teaching my class and my students know and pay attention to the app. This frees me to get on with teaching and training.

### 5/5 — Classroom

*2017-10-19*

So when I go to class me and this fat kid named trent can’t stop laughing at this. My teacher gets mad. Why is it so funny

### 5/5 — It's so funny

*2016-12-15*

When its on the arrow is on the red it "shatters" its so funny I recommend class rooms use it!

### 5/5 — This game is really fun

*2016-09-02*

My daughter loves it! It is fun and entertaining for her! Gameplay is simple and relaxing, cute graphics, nice sound.

### 5/5 — Great

*2016-09-01*

This app made my classroom appreciably less rowdy and my students more aware of their noise. Very cute and friendly. To my fellow teachers leaving with ringing ears every day, I recommend this app to help you take back control of the classroom

### 5/5 — Highly recommend

*2016-09-01*

It is truly one of the best games for children I have ever found. It's super fun and so cute. My daughter plays it all the time.
