## What is Too Many Zombies?

Every night the horde grows. Every roll could be your last.

Too Many Zombies is a push-your-luck dice game where you play the survivor. Roll three dice at a time: supplies go into your haul, zombies grab at you, and noise brings more trouble. Stop and stash what you found, or roll again for more. Three grabs and you run, dropping everything.

Every night you eat, and going hungry costs you health. One green die in the jar turns red each night, so the longer you hold out, the harder it gets.

WAYS TO PLAY
• Survival: how many nights can you last on your own?
• Daily: one run a day on the same dice as everyone else, with its own leaderboard and prizes for keeping a streak
• vs Bot: 1v1 against an Easy, Medium or Hard bot
• Multiplayer: live 1v1 against a random opponent or a friend through Game Center

PICK YOUR SURVIVOR
• Medic: starts with 6 health instead of 3
• Scavenger: +1 supply whenever you stash 3 or more
• Decoy: sends a stalker after your rival with a single noise, and is never followed

TRICKS UP YOUR SLEEVE
• Shotgun: blast a zombie back into the jar to save a bad turn
• Flares: drop a supply die into your roll
• The crate: one gold die holds loot, if you can stash it

ALSO
• A short tutorial that teaches the game in two turns
• Three looks: Pulp comic, Grim night and Survival manual
• Game Center leaderboards and 15 achievements

Free to play. Optional packs of shells and flares are for sale, and you also earn them by playing.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-10-23

Bug fixes and improvements.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-22

Made for iPhone Duo. Open it flat and the game spreads across two pages: the scoreboard and a jar of dice on one, your turn on the other. Prop it up like a laptop and your dice and buttons lie on the flat half under your thumbs, with your haul standing up where you can see it.

On iPhone Duo, the shotgun, sound and Quit move into the side bar, folded or open.

The dice now live in a jar, not a bag. Jar O' Zombies: shake well, keep the lid on after dark.

Plus layout fixes for squarer screens.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-12

The daily is fairer: every day of the run now starts with the same dice for everyone, whatever happened the day before. Same puzzle, your choices.

Your shotgun has more firepower. Fire as many shells as you're carrying in a turn, and if too many zombies show up, blast them back until you're down to 2 grabs. Four zombies with two shells? You're still in it.

Nights hit harder. Watch your food tick away as you eat, and lost hearts wiggle and pop. When you stash, your haul counts up and new hearts and shells pop into place.

Pulp comic nights now roll in under a fresh sky of inked clouds, and the fog is easier to see in Survival manual.

Plus clearer bust messages, a tidier Scavenger bonus, and lots of small fixes.

Note: online games need both players on this version.

### 1.0 — 2026-10-11
