Crazy. ### 3/5 — Couldn’t get past the initial page *2024-05-21, version 1.3.12* Open the app, and it immediately demands I login even though I don’t have one. Couldn’t get past that, not willing to pay to see if it was worth the price ### 2/5 — Terrible. *2023-11-19, version 1.3.12* This app is functionally a nightmare to use. The UI is very unintuitive and getting started logging your watch is extremely convoluted as the app does not direct you. Not to mention the “account” setup that is required. The fact that I need a useless “account” to use an app that should retain its basic functionality without internet access is egregious. Having to type out both my password and email every single time I reopen the app to either get a login error or be told something went wrong is also unbelievably annoying. Not to mention every single one of the buttons which should bring up help or forum sites (I am guessing) have “load errors”. This app has clearly been cobbled together by its developer and left to rot with no updates or check ins on its functionality. Two stars because it seems like the basic functionality they advertise is there, but is much more of a nightmare to get to and use than it should be. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t show registration page *2023-09-11, version 1.3.12* Doesn’t show any way to register ### 1/5 — Unusable - no way to create account *2023-09-09, version 1.3.12* This app immediately opens a username and password screen, no “register a new user” or anything similar. Unless you’re already registered, the “forgot password” button does nothing either ### 1/5 — Can’t log in *2023-08-15, version 1.3.12* Just downloaded the app, but can’t log in. Tried chat function and it just says ‘load error’ ### 1/5 — App doesn’t even let you use it *2023-08-11, version 1.3.12* I downloaded the app, it brought me directly to a login screen (no opportunity to create an account or anything), the only option was to check the messages looking bubble icon or tap “forgot password.” The messages brought me to a mostly blank screen that read “Load error.” There’s literally nothing you can do with this app. ### 1/5 — Just a data harvesting app *2023-08-07, version 1.3.12* Didn’t get past the opening screen that asks you to log in. Never used the app before but it said email already in use. OK clicked password reset, reset email never arrived. You can only see them when pulling the screen down on the dashboard for a second and then they’ll disappear again. Ughhhhhh!!!! I went to delete this mistake but you can’t. If you type in your email address then switch to your password manager it clears the fields. My password is complicated so I cannot remember it. It also won’t allow you to paste from your password app. I’ve deleted it for this reason. I’ve got a lot of watches backed up on their website, which is the only way you can use it now. The app is dead. Doesn’t even let me log in. Just says error, try again later. I’ve been able to use it when I need it maybe once in the last 6 months. ### 1/5 — Couldn’t even give it a try *2023-11-23, version 1.3.12* So I read the reviews in the description and I was a bit hesitant about testing it because it sounded like you had to manually push the button and there’s no way the human is sensitive enough to accurately time parts per million in one minute, but I thought I’d give it a try anyway. In case you something fancy like the microphone or something to listen to the text installed the app and it’s just a data mining app. It wanted me to register before I could even give it a try had to give it an email address that didn’t work for ages. When I finally came back to tried it loaded, and then the next thing is it one and all the personal information about my watches it wouldn’t even let me just try it. Don’t even bother downloading this app. It’s not worth the headache find something better maybe even pay for something that actually works. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Superb, one of my favourite apps *2023-04-06, version 1.3.12* I’ve been using this for many years with dozens of watches and find it to be superb. Easy to use and add watches, and very easy to time their accuracy over a length of time you decide (needs to be longer than 12 hours). Access was disallowed for an unknown reason last week but a very efficiently performed password reset solved the problem and all my watch data remains intact If you’re a watch guy or gal then this is a must face app. There’s also a website by the same developer which has a very good interface too Toolwatch.io I hope it will continue to work in future when new iPhone models and iOS version comes along. As a suggestion, a way to download my watch data (or via an email) would be nice to have.
