## What is ToON Novels?

Veronica is dying in a back alley. Rewind one year: she is a con artist living off wealthy men, and the wrong man has just caught her.

ToON Novels is interactive fiction where your choices shape the story — and where the characters remember what you chose.

READ AND DECIDE
Every scene puts a decision in your hands. Charm him, lie to him, or walk away. Your choices are tracked across three lines of reputation — sweet promises, shards of power, dropped masks — and they change how people treat you and where the plot goes.

TALK TO THE CHARACTERS
This is not a chatbot bolted onto a book. Once you have met someone in the story, you can open a private conversation with them. They remember the deal you took, the lie you told, and the way you looked at them across the room. Jim knows exactly how you answered him in his office. Zhao Lin remembers whether you were honest.

FOR ALL YOUR MONEY
Jim traffics in forged paintings. He catches Veronica running a con and offers her a choice: the police, or a job. Seduce Zhao Lin, a restorer whose signature can turn a fake into a masterpiece — and who cannot read his own feelings. There is a best friend who trades in secrets, a young painter with nothing to lose, and a plan that only works if nobody looks too closely.
