Please don’t stop developing and supporting it. It sometimes hangs when recording mixes back to back, but it’s a versioning issue, and will be fixed. If I could add just ONE MORE knob it would be one that shifts the chord progressions and or bass lines against the drum. This would exponentially increase the possible variations with little effort. Rather than programming a beat, this seems to load a couple pop formula midi files into some decent sounding instrument and drums. Nicely laid out. Decent amount of sound control it seems. This might be a great tool for basic/easy backing tracks. Stopping the creative process to export midi, import midi, assign tracks to appropriate channel etc… can kill the flow. I would love to hear the ideas directly on my external synths and modules/software, just press record to capture the midi. I was very interested because I create a lot of music on my apple devices. Once downloaded I was blown away. I think I own almost all iOS music creation apps but this is so different. Instead of just been a daw or a loop based app it allows you to be creative as well as providing inspiration. Purchased full version within an 30 mins of play. Good luck to you sir and hope the app continues to develop even further. ### 5/5 — What producers need!!! *2025-01-13* Get this app if you are having a hard time coming up with melodies, and short on time or inspiration, this app cuts through hours of playing melodies that aren’t that good, this app also is perfectly balanced with making melodies and drums fast. I’ve already exported just two ideas and I used the midi information to use in my other daws and wow they sound great. Perfect sketch idea, my only complaint is the knob resolution, needs to be less sensitive because you barely move your finger and you’ll pass 20 presets, and the exporting is a little weird but it does work, you might have to export multiple times to get the right track info, either stems or midi info. Hands down though, one of the best music apps that people haven’t woke up to yet ### 5/5 — Download this now! The instruments, chord progressions and sound quality are excellent! It could be improved if when exporting a wave file, that the file was a perfect 4, 8 or 16 bars without a tail. … Also would be be nice if there were purchase option as opposed to a subscription. I think that Groovebox is a better value for the money.… The export functions are better. The instruments are comparable and it also has ableton link and it interfaces with other apps better. … But in the app developers defense I know that their intention is for the app to be writing tool rather than a full-blown workstation. I think I would pay $20 for the app and paid for future significant updates, similar to the way that Loopy Pro charges customers. Well done! Update: Nov 12/23 Loooove the interface enhancements. It makes the user experience extremely smooth. This app has a lot more going for it under the hood, than you might suspect at first glance. The chord generator alone, surpasses that of any other app I’ve used. The features are mind boggling. It can inspire you in writing your next song, and it can entertain you for hours just playing with its music creation capabilities. - No one likes subscriptions, but honestly, the price they ask is reachable by most, and the cost is easily justified. Best Midi generator out that offers the usability of midi chords/progressions on the fly you can actually use. Wish there were more updates for the re-occurring sub cost though. More chord progressions, slower control when navigating the patterns, there are a butt ton shoved in there, and great patterns are often missed.
