Worst customer service ever and the same experience I faced while my aligner kit was delivered a week later. They don't care after you pay the money. And I am writing this review after just one month of my treatment. Hope my next eight months go smoothly. ### 1/5 — Worst support after purchase *2025-09-25, version 5.1.6* I’ve purchased their makeO toothsi plan. My treatment is for 1.2 years Pre-sales :they called my thousands of time so that i purchase their treatment plan and kept on interacting with me. Post sales: customer service team hardly takes the call, priority has dropped to ZERO. Orthodontist with tell you something and whereas the email shows different information. Booking a consultation is hard. Response rate dropped to 48-72hr. Chat support doesn’t get connected. No body calls to provide update or alinger care check-in is scheduled but no doctor have connected with me from 4 days. There is a wait time of 2hrs but there is no reply from 4 days. Toothsi sounds good in the starting with the attention and care they show before you make the payment. But it’s like I’m stuck in this for 1.2 yrs now. There are a lot of people involves in this and different promises. One of the person promised to give me 2 set of post treatment alingers. But then everyone else says that it will be only 1 set. Toothsi is messy and will cause a headache throughout the treatment period. My friends want to get into alinger treatment but I’m slept iCal to advise them toothsi. Very poor service and feels like trap post the sale is completed. ### 1/5 — Not responsive after first set of aligners got delivered *2025-09-20* It’s been over a month since I was promised my second set of aligners and even though they said 15-20 days now when I ask either they do not respond to my ticket for days or repeat the same jargon over and over. Your aligners are in production, I can’t commit to a date. The tracking details will be shared as soon as the production ends. Over and over for every question. The bigger problem is the payment was taken upfront and one cannot do anything for the poor service. So far because of the incompetence of their doctor I have Injested metal bands and plastic buttons because they didn’t glue it right, have faced lack of accountability because they just said come to the clinic and get the button placed again. The first box of aligners was good and their service at the beginning was satisfactory. However, upon receiving my second box, the experience completely changed. They failed to schedule my appointments, which meant the doctor never called me for the required session. As a result, I have been unable to get my teeth attachments and start my second phase of treatment. Instead of resolving the issue, they have been delaying the process and refusing to take proper responsibility. This has caused a huge delay in my treatment, and I feel like I’m being scammed. I trusted them with something as important as my dental health, but the lack of professionalism and accountability has been extremely disappointing. I would strongly advise others to think twice before choosing Tootsie for their dental needs. ### 1/5 — Extremely disappointing experience. *2025-04-30, version 5.1.2* I have been struggling for the past 10 days to get any support for my Toothsi aligners team. Once the product is sold, they completely forget about you. Daily calls, repeated online support requests, and even in-person visits to their clinic have been met with zero resolution. The staff doesn’t greet you properly and shows no willingness to help. Their customer service is absolutely unresponsive and indifferent. I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting this company. I will be highlighting this issue across other social platforms as well. ### 1/5 — Worst customer support *2025-04-17* This is the worst customer support with i have had spoken to. I was chasing them for almost a year regarding refund for my hydra facial treatment. As the treatment is not upto the mark i got pimples after every session and i complaint about it but no response from them. Then i stop taking the sessions. They didn’t follow up for 6 months then i told them to initiate the refund but they said we can modify the package but cant initiate the refund. Now i told them to give me the lifetime sessions as i was taking laser hair reduction pkg along with hydra. I got 8 sessions complete last year. Then i book maintenance sessions again last year told them to modify my hydra amount they didn’t do anything. Now i told them again to do lifetime sessions along with my hydra amount and use my makeo coins. Also cancel the laser pkg as well. As it will cost more in the pkg it was for 54,000 and i took maintenance in 20k my hydra was for 16k. So if they use my make o coins 10,000 along with refund for laser that is 17,500 and hydra refund is 11,000. The amount total is 38,500. I will pay the rest amount for sue i have no problem with that. But i cant have laser 7 sessions along with life time sessions. It will cost more. So plz understand what i’m trying to say here. My money which i earn i dont want to spend like penny. For us 50K is big amount to spend on. Bcoz i have already gave you 20k maintenance and 16k in hydra and again i give you 50k. I’m sorry i will not do this. You have to guys do it in my way. Today again they did the same they always hung up on me. You have to show us empathy not your attitude. You guys are getting paid bcoz of us. If we will not taking the packages you will be getting your salaries on time. Then asked me to choose video consultation but why I choose video consultation when I book for a 3D scan. I asked then if you can’t give me the services I choose then cancel it and refund me and they are saying that it can’t be refunded. They are just fooling people with flashy ads and 3D scan thing they don’t even have doctors available and they already know about that but still asking people to pay them and forget the 3D scan it’s clearly a fraud and I should report that to consumer court. ### 1/5 — BEWARE – TOOTHSi is a Scam! Fraud Alert! *2025-04-07, version 5.1.1* I booked a treatment with Toothsi in good faith. During the consultation, they were extremely responsive and promised that I could easily continue my aligner treatment from the UK via video calls. I trusted them and made the full payment of ₹40,000. But once the payment was made, their attitude completely changed. Suddenly, they said I must come in person for a dental procedure — which was never mentioned before. I reminded them that I was already in the UK, as I had clearly informed them during the initial discussions. After multiple frustrating calls and emails, I decided to cancel the treatment in December 2024 and requested a refund. They said they would deduct ₹11,000 and refund ₹29,000. Although unfair, I agreed — just to end the matter. But till now, I haven’t received a single rupee from them. Every time I call, they give fake promises of a “callback.” When it came to collecting payment, they were calling and following up like anything. But when it’s about refunding a customer’s hard-earned money — total silence. Toothsi is a fraud. They are dishonest, misleading, and unprofessional. Do NOT trust them with your money or your dental health. I am exploring legal options now. If anyone else has had a similar experience, we should raise our voices together. ### 1/5 — A Complete Scam – Toothsi Is Cheating Customers! *2025-03-11* I had initially trusted Toothsi and even referred my friend to their aligner plan, believing in their service. As part of their referral program, I was supposed to receive ₹4,500 as a referral bonus. I followed all their instructions, submitted my bank details and a canceled cheque through their app, and was informed that the amount would be credited within 15 days. However, it has now been over a month, and the money is still not credited. What’s worse is their customer service—every time I call, they give the same scripted response: “We will arrange a callback.” Despite multiple follow-ups, they have done nothing except delay the process. They keep saying that my issue has been marked as “high priority” and that they will check with the accounts team, but in reality, no one is taking responsibility. It is clear that Toothsi is running a fraudulent operation under the guise of a referral program. They lure customers in with false promises but never honor their commitments. This is nothing short of a scam, and I am now left with no option but to escalate the matter legally by filing a complaint with the consumer forum. They promised me and charged me a good amount for this. In the name of Peel they only did my lips peeling with excuses it's too hot summer so not good for the skin but they counted these sessions and cut my maximum sessions like this. Even in Hydra, they did peeling n peeling. Due to excessive n hard peeling, I got many black spots on the nose and other parts of my face. Attached are some pics for reference. LIVING WITH THESE MARKS BECAUSE OF THEM! I raised tickets many times but they closed it without even talking. I raised this on mail and through App but they are not listening. Dr. Kriti, Dr. Develina, Shivani these are the name who are only doing fake promises and closing my tickets without doing anything. Dr. Kriti left Skinsi without giving any download to the current doctor and now she is telling App showing your Hydra and Peeling sessions are done. They are only ready to sell packages and products. I would strongly say . don't go to them. they are fake . I don't want to cross the line otherwise I would have written something worse they deserve. DON'T GO TO SKINSI If there will be any provision to submit the images, I would have. There were no follow-ups or guidance, which made the process feel very disconnected. 🔹 Pending Clinic Visit: It’s been three years, and my clinic visit is still pending. Despite repeated delays, there has been no proactive effort from their team to schedule or complete it. 🔹 No Reminders or Support: Since aligners require discipline, I expected some form of reminders or check-ins to ensure I stayed on track. Unfortunately, there was zero support from their side, which made it even harder to follow the treatment properly. 🔹 Extra Costs: Every time I misplaced or broke an aligner, I had to pay an additional amount to get a replacement. I feel I just drained it in gutter. First of all there is no regular doctor consultation, and the dentist are also not experienced or well versed mostly they are just starting out after finishing their education. I regularly followed each and every step till wearing retainers for about 1.5 years but still I experience relapse. And my teeth were not in exact shape what is expected in last stage of retainers. I consulted experienced orthodontist later, they said they have just not taken any consideration of how the teeth alignment will affect your jawline, now my teeth is not properly aligned for biting and it is causing huge problems Overall, makeO is extremely useless Please go for a real experienced orthodontist ### 1/5 — Worst app ever with Fraud *2024-12-14* So they have deleted my comment again and again. Because i spoke reality. I had been promised it would be smooth treatment but from starting 1st session i got rashes achne and black spots. Even after consultation dr they just suggested allergic medicine. After 4 sessions my hair growth got more heavier and darker. No solution was ever provided to me after too many consultations. When i raised my concern more they came up with 1 thing that left over sessions would be refund. For that refund they actually took 2 months as they were giving unnecessary reasons. Till the time i got no call from senior person. Now my face and body have got worsen and literally so many marks and just got refund for pending sessions after a lot of fight but what about the money loss i faced. The package they provide is way expensive den of others but i had really trusted this app but they just want to have money in their pockets. I wish every app rating could be zero star plus the company won't be able to delete your comment. Plus don't let them play with your skin. Thank you! ### 1/5 — Worst service - they are a scam *2024-11-22, version 5.0.52* I got my scan done and paid half for the treatment which was promised to me, when it came to final execution they denied the price agreed upon earlier and asked me to pay double the amount, I asked them to refund the money which they didn’t and forced me to either pay double or let go of the money I have already paid. This went on for 10 months, I finally had to file a complaint at Consumer Grievance portal, after which they processed the refund in a day. Worst medical services company, zero coordination between different teams, no one is aware about their work and the worst mobile app- kids from my college can make a better app, please hire a good product manager or just give some college students an assignment, they’ll give you a better app in 10 days. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Worst service, don’t waste your time and money *2026-06-10* Ever since I’ve received my kit( which was wayyy later than initially expected), the alligner sets are not fitting well and despite of complaining again and again the doctor seems to be postponing it. There is no solution and when repeatedly I have written emails and called for appointment, there is nothing from their side. Don’t waste your time and money and your energy behind them. Rather get a professional and local doctor who would do a better job. Even the quality of the alligners is not upto the mark. It has never fitted well and even during the appointment with the doctor it came off right in front of them. Still I was told to continue it and come back after my 5th set. However, after her braces were removed five months ago, she was only given trial aligners that were supposed to be worn for one to two weeks. It has now been five months, and she has still not received a single actual aligner. As a result, the progress she achieved is now starting to reverse. Additionally, she was not even provided with retainers after the braces were removed, and the trial aligners themselves arrived three weeks late. The service has been extremely disappointing. The customer care team has been unhelpful and when I requested to speak with a senior representative, I was told the senior was on emergency leave and that they could only raise a ticket. They insisted that any resolution would come only via email. The representative I spoke with kept repeating the same three sentences without offering any real assistance. I paid full money on 25 December 2025 but still after 35 days my half of the kit is in pending and it shows that it will dispatch soon , even after complaining so many time. 3. Costumer support is worst , if you complain or ask something they can’t do anything ,simply they are going to raise a ticket and you will get a message that someone will call you between 24 to 48 hours but no response from any one, if you raise a complaint also that you didn’t get any call then again they are going to raise a ticket that someone will call you between 24 to 48 hours but no again response from any one and it keep on happening. I booked a basic consultation with Toothsi and paid ₹200. From that point onward, the experience became extremely stressful. The scan on my dashboard was shown as “completed” even before the scan had actually happened. A video consultation was scheduled without my consent, and throughout the process I kept receiving contradictory information from different representatives. I was told that I could cancel the plan before aligners go into production. But despite repeatedly asking for clarity and cancellation, I was met with silence and shifting explanations. On top of that, a loan was approved under my name based on the information they gave—yet when I requested cancellation, I was suddenly told I needed to pay ₹12,000 just to close it, even though the aligner process had not started. For weeks, I have been writing emails asking for basic answers, timelines, and accountability. I still haven’t received a proper response. The amount of mental stress, back-and-forth, and lack of transparency has been overwhelming. This has been one of the most confusing and emotionally exhausting customer experiences I’ve ever had. You don’t get the service you pay so much for. They have very few orthodontists in a city like Delhi and most times only 2 locations will have doctors available. They don’t have any coordination within the team itself. The doctors visits are not communicated properly, you have to run after them to get confirmation on anything. The aligners sets are not delivered on time and when you call customer care they onlg give you more excuses. They take your money and forget about you completely. Would not recommend Toothsi to anyone. PATHETIC SERVICE! ### 1/5 — Worst app and customer service *2025-11-18* Extremely extremely disappointed with Toothsi. They're quick to take your money but very lethargic and unresponsive when it comes to providing the services they promised. I bought the fast track plan and still the Toothsi box was delivered very very late. Even slower than the normal plan. After the box was delivered, they did not make contact with me to guide me further. I had to connect with them myself to know what had to be done with it. For that also, I called them a lot of times but there was no quick response. The same story has been continuing ever since. Their app is even worse. It doesn't work. I had to stop my treatment for 10 days in between due to some dental issues and since then the app doesn't work. It didn't stop the timer and it's way ahead of my actual pace. I tried to upload my progress pictures but the app is so slow, I left it that way for almost 2 hours but still couldn't upload the pictures. I'm more than halfway through my aligners and not a single doctor has checked on my progress. I can't keep calling them to tell their job, Toothsi should take the responsibility itself. I strongly do not recommend this brand for either dental or skin treatments. After making the payment, there has been no proper response to my tickets or calls. Even when a reply comes, it takes 2–3 days, which is highly unprofessional for a healthcare service. It took 50 days just to receive my first aligner, and even that was delivered to the wrong address, despite me providing the correct one multiple times. This clearly shows poor coordination, lack of accountability, and negligence from their end. Nothing about the process — from customer support to treatment delivery — has been satisfactory. I feel completely stuck after purchasing their plans, and there seems to be no proper escalation system or concern for the customer’s experience.
