Tried three times and each time my phone had to restart. I paid for the app a long time ago and it worked then but not anymore. Now they want you to buy another app. ### 3/5 — This app is only true hdr *2018-08-29, version 4.91* Please fix this app for ios11 as it is the ONLY one that does hdr correctly. It takes 3 pictures and puts them together! That’s how it’s done. All the others are fake. Even top camera 2 doesn’t do it right. I have no idea what the first review titled "disappointed" is talking about but this is a great little camera, oh and it comes with a phone built in! Haha ### 5/5 — the🌟BEST🌟camera app on the market *2013-01-17, version 4.7* I feel top camera is the best camera app out there. I love all the very many features that it incorporates into a single app. And I especially love the slow shutter feature which allows me to make nighttime photographs with ease. You can also easily control the photo before you make the picture and/or edit "in app"after you make the picture for correction; really good editor for your photos. This one is a definite keeper. However, for some strange reason in January 2013 it started crashing. Worked great from October 2012 up until now. I suspect it is an update that caused the problem. And I hope it can be quickly fixed. I don't easily find a way to contact the publisher about this problem. Try 50 different camera apps and you won't find one better than this one, when it's not crashing that is. Please put a support email link or website on the App Store description off top camera. I would also like to have input/suggestions on new features for the app. ### 5/5 — Top Camera vs Camera + *2013-01-15, version 4.7* I own both these camera apps and in my iPhone 4, I preferred the Camera +. Now on my iPhone 5 I feel like Top Camera functions better with it. The ability to shoot in regular and HDR and burst is awesome and the ability to edit within the app with brightness, saturation, all the good stuff, etc alongside various effects. Both of these apps are great but overall for iPhone 5 users, I recommend top camera. Top Camera has the best updates of any camera app in the store. The constant stream of new features makes buying this app a no-brainer. Developer also listens to users for future updates so if this app somehow doesn't have something you want, suggest it and you will likely receive. Includes many more high quality features than any other camera app I have downloaded. ### 5/5 — Wow! *2012-07-28, version 4.2* This is a wonderful camera app. I've tried several camera apps and Top Camera is the best. I took my time, learning and exploring the different features of the app and there are many. I was very impressed with the HDR and the end result of HDR is very noticeable. My first time using sound to trip the shutter was a great experience. The Stabilizer feature was great. I need that. Burst Mode operation was outstanding. There are many more tfeatures and all are useful. I selected the paid version and it Is $2.99 well spent. The App works outstandingly on my iPhone 4S. Use of any filter in any was does the same. Slow to load even on a 6s poorly written software. Is not supported anymore. It was my go to app, after this review, it getting deleted. What's worse, I spent the .99 for the upgrade. Certainly won't be purchasing anything from this co. ### 1/5 — Epic fail *2013-09-11, version 4.82* I was frustrated with the camera not saving any of the exposure settings so I clicked the button to submit feedback. Well after detailing the problem and making some suggestions, the app completely locked up without any way whatsoever to click the submit button or anything. I came back to the app probably 3-4 times over an hour and still stuck so I had to delete it completely. I don't know if I'm going to reinstall it or not, right now I'm really disappointed and basically wasted the 2.99 on something that looks really cool but isn't near up to the caliber I was expecting. When I look back at the images of those days I’m still impressed with the quality. I mean the kind of quality of circus pictures (impossible lighting) and when I zoom in on the subjects they are very sharp and I love it. Don’t change a thing. This application is extremely easy to use for people with low vision. The menus have excellent contrast and are easy to see but people like me. The camera has excellent features that provide tailoring to the photographic experience the edit to his excellent. As mentioned, menu items have excellent contrast manner extremely easy to see why the person with low vision. The Apple applications have abandoned people with low vision. Their menu icons are extremely thin against a light background. Fortunately this application has avoided going down that path. ### 5/5 — This is It.... The Best Camera app *2013-05-29, version 4.81* The design of this camera app is just great. It has folders…… you can organize now all your photos and videos, Tons of feature; HDR [ high Dynamic range], burst, timer , auto white balance , exposure box and focus box that works perfect to capture great photos. Plus a wonderful Photo Editor crop, rotate, adjust brightness, contrast, saturation and improve all with sliders so you can create your best shot. also there are tons of effects from grayscale, pencil drawing and on and on. A BEAUTIFUL CLEAN DESIGN Love it I highly recommend this camera app ### 5/5 — Once again my favorite *2013-05-24, version 4.8* The update was successful and I again use this app for all of my color shots. It lets me focus on close-up things and get true depth of field. Have to say I rarely use the editing function (it is ok but not spectacular) - as a camera replacement it does everything I need and does it well Below is my review from before iOS 6. Since the app has not been updated for the new iOS (over a month later) it is nearly unusable to take pics. I won't be using it again until it is updated. 😔 (This is my go to camera. Process time is nominal, so I don't have to wait before I can take another picture. The interface is straight forward.
