## What is Top Cheddar?

Top Cheddar is the 8-bit lacrosse game you always wanted as a kid. Field, Sixes and Box, built for a phone held sideways and quick enough to play in short bursts.

PLAY THE MOMENTS THAT MATTER
- Offense: run with the left thumb; pass, dodge and shoot with the right. Hold SHOOT to slow time, slide to a corner and let it rip.
- Faceoffs: win the clamp, win the battle, pick your exit before the clock runs out.
- Goalie POV: the big shots cut to your view of the cage. Read it, react, make the save.
- Clears and rides, line changes, play calls, and a defense you set once and adjust on the fly.

NEW: BOX LACROSSE
- Five a side in an indoor rink, with the lights changing every quarter.
- Big hits, penalties, power plays, and ON FIRE streaks for shooters and hitters.
- Fights: after a big hit, drop the gloves and fight with one thumb per fist. Cartoon style with no blood. You can switch FIGHTS off in Settings.
- The Box shootout: a 1v1 from centre with a DEKE, then a goalie view with the shooter running in at you.

BUILD A PROGRAM
- Start near the bottom of the club league and climb three tiers, with promotion and relegation every season.
- Re-sign, draft and bid in free agency under a salary cap. Hire staff, build facilities and train your units in the Gym.
- Schedules, standings and playoff brackets for every tier. Standings by LaxLeague.com.

MORE WAYS TO PLAY
- Quick Game in Field, Sixes or Box, on EASY, NORMAL or HARD. In Sixes you pick one of 21 European Sixes nations.
- Shootouts: five rounds, then sudden death. Pass and play with a friend or play online.
- The Weekly Game: one HARD matchup for everyone and a leaderboard that resets every Monday.
- Online Sixes: 5 v 5 plus goalies with your own lineup of player cards. Packs are free.
- Cheat codes at kickoff. Find them in our posts.

Free. No ads, no in-app purchases, no account needed. Sign in with Apple only for cloud saves and the online modes.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-24

BOX LACROSSE IS HERE
Five a side in an indoor rink, with the lights changing every quarter.
- Big hits and knockdowns. Dirty hits draw penalties, and penalties bring power plays and penalty kills.
- ON FIRE: score or hit enough and a player heats up, then catches fire.
- Fights: after a big hit, drop the gloves. One thumb per fist: jab, uppercut, haymaker, guard. Cartoon style with no blood. You can switch FIGHTS off in Settings.
- Box goalie POV: the shooter runs in at you. Square up with your left thumb and tap the save with your right.
- The Box shootout: a 1v1 from centre with a DEKE button. It settles tied Box games, and it's also its own mode under SHOOTOUT, alongside BOX VS CPU and a standalone FIGHT mode.

SIXES GOES EUROPEAN
Sixes Quick Game now features 21 European Sixes nations, each with its own flag and kits.
