### 1/5 — Why not?

*2018-10-31, version 1.0*

Moved over from Power NI were I used there app for payments expecting the same here. Been sold on the fact that Electric Ireland are all singing / all dancing but not if you’re a customer in Northern Ireland. C’mon, get this sorted.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2018-07-29, version 1.0*

Switched on promises that it would be easy to top up . Months later still wouldn’t let northern customers top up on the app . To Mitch hassle . As soon as contract is up I will be switching back .

### 1/5 — Martin

*2018-06-28, version 1.0*

Can’t log in despite checking details were correct. Judging by other reviews, this is a widespread problem here in NI. Poor excuse for a “convenience” app.

### 1/5 — APP doesn’t cover NI customers

*2018-06-26, version 1.0*

If you live in NI then you can’t use their app (despite what the sales rep may tell you!). Very disappointed. You have to log in to their website every time you need a top up. Not as convenient as an app.

### 1/5 — Rubbish app wont let you log in!

*2018-06-25, version 1.0*

Absolute rubbish can't even log in. Have to log in on browser to top up my meter!

### 1/5 — Northern Ireland

*2018-06-17, version 1.0*

Very disappointed that App only works for Southern Ireland customers! I was used to submitting meter readings and checking my bill via my previous suppliers App and I’m less than pleased that I was not told upfront at point of sale that I would not be able to use the App. As I’m still within the ‘cooling off’ period I’m seriously considering cancelling and returning to SSE! 😡

### 1/5 — Pathetic app

*2018-04-05, version 1.0*

Come on Electric Ireland, make an app that we can use in NI or just like the other reviewers, we’ll be changing to another provider

### 1/5 — Cannot create an account

*2018-03-20, version 1.0*

It’s now March 2018 and still customers from NI cannot create and account on this app which is useless. Considering apps are for handiness sake! Had I know this i would have stuck to my previous provider whom I was happy with and able to use the app at my own leisure!

### 1/5 — Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid

*2018-01-24, version 1.0*

Do not use these cowboys. I changed last year as they offered £75 for me to switch. Boy was I sorry. Online app won’t work as it won’t recognise my mobile number and when you top up via a phone you’ll get a voice saying sorry there’s a fault yet this is after they take your money and you’re on hold for hours. Bunch of cowboys. I can’t wait until April when I can change back to my old supplier. People please avoid.

### 1/5 — Mr muggens

*2018-01-06, version 1.0*

Un rateable as I live in Northern Ireland I changed over to Electric Ireland but I was never told I would have to pay in euros I knew nothing about it until I tried to top up my electric at a pay zone
The top up card is in English but when you download the app it’s pay in euros can’t you get one small item correct I wish I never heard of Electric Ireland but 12 months won’t be long going in and THEN it’s goodbye from me
Can’t Zero Tap zero star

### 1/5 — Won’t work N. Ireland

*2017-12-28, version 1.0*

Very frustrating app, swapped over & the initial £30 + £20 credit I had lasted a good long & only needed to add electricity after few months. So downloaded app & tried registering... didn’t recognise email address, checked to make sure email was right & it was confirmation of swap over was sent there. So tried again & this time wouldn’t allow me to continue as my mobile number was not recognised as southern number “087” beginning. So after getting more irritated and before thinking of ringing customer services. I went online to site & completed registration & verified email+number. Went back to the app and still it wouldn’t recognise the details. So deleted the app and went back to site, added credit. Saved the home screen to desktop for future.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2017-11-02, version 1.0*

Disappointed to find out Northern Ireland customers cant use the app! Pointless

### 1/5 — App only for Republic of Ireland Customers

*2017-10-23, version 1.0*

Switched to this Electric Ireland outfit wooed by an offer of £75. MISTAKE this was , haven't noticed the electric any cheaper and to throw into the mix if your a customer from Northern Ireland then delete the app as they only cater for Republic of Ireland customers.

A simple call I made has sorted that, I've switched to a better provider with a fully working app.

Electric Ireland do one your useless !

### 1/5 — Will not let Northern Ireland customers top up

*2017-09-29, version 1.0*

Very disappointed, switched from my previous provider- who I was perfectly happy with- as I was offered a SLIGHTLY better deal and assured that the app would be including Northern Ireland within the next couple of weeks. This was the only reason I changed, being assured the app would be updated shortly. It's a hassle trying to top up on the website- yes I know, first world problems and all that- but when it's convenience you're looking for and convenience you've been promised, it really is a let down. I would greatly recommend and appreciate if your Northern customers were thought of and given the 'promises' they were assured of. Otherwise I think a lot of customers would be more than happy to return to their previous providers.

### 1/5 — Mickypercy

*2017-09-28, version 1.0*

Wouldn't take my phone number or password so delete and downloaded a few time still didn't work.

### 1/5 — Won't accept UK mobile phone number when trying to register account using the App

*2017-08-30, version 1.0*

Decided to download the Electric Ireland App to make it easier to submit Meter Reading. You are required to enter a Mobile Phone Number as part of the process. However, when I do the number is not recognised, even using the 0044 prefix. Very poorly thought through.

### 1/5 — Northern Ireland not supported

*2017-05-17, version 1.0*

You can't register for an account with a Northern Ireland phone number

### 1/5 — No Northern Ireland option

*2017-05-14, version 1.0*

### 1/5 — Very disappointed

*2017-04-27, version 1.0*
