## What is Topline Songwriting?

Topline is a voice memo app built for songwriting. Hum a melody, sing a line, or strum an idea, and it is saved the moment you stop. When you want more than a bare recording, attach a chord progression or a backing track and record over it.

RECORD FIRST
• One big record button, always within reach of your thumb
• Full-bandwidth audio so vocals and guitar sound like they did in the room
• Start a recording hands-free with Siri while you are driving or playing

LYRICS THAT WRITE THEMSELVES
• Recordings are transcribed automatically into searchable lyrics
• Fix a misheard word with a tap, or swap it for a rhyme or synonym
• Search every recording by title or by any line you sang

AN OPTIONAL MUSIC LAYER
• Build a backing progression from the chords in your key, shown with Nashville numbers
• Piano or Rhodes voicings, drone, metronome, tempo, and time signature
• Import your own backing track and set where it starts
• Engage or silence the chords and the backing independently for the next take

MADE TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY
• Recordings and lyrics live on your device
• Light, dark, or follow the system
• Share a take as an audio file from anywhere in the app

Topline is for the first two minutes of a song: the part where you need to get it down before it disappears.
