The map covers Norway at practical outdoor scales and looks sharp on Retina displays. What's inside - Full offline use — download any area to your device and leave reception behind - Tracks and waypoints, with GPX import and export (folders stay intact) - Route Planner lets you plan routes ahead of time by placing points on the map. You can also save and edit routes later. It shows the total distance and area of the route you draw. - Measure Tool for checking distance and angle between points: touch and hold the map with two fingers. You download areas for reasons that are unclear as the resulting map is just a shaded rectsnlgd…. Still no contour lines. No better than stupid Google maps and therefore a waste of money - please refund my 3.99 UKP ### 2/5 — Unstable, and no help *2023-12-31* The maps look amazing, but I can’t figure out how to import a GPS track, and there doesn’t seem to be any instructions anywhere, even on the developer’s web page. Moreover, the app crashes on my iPad when I go to Bookmarks -> Edit -> Settings. It doesn’t crash on my iPhone, though. But I still can’t figure out how to import a GPS track. ### 3/5 — Needs tile download *2015-03-01* Ok, and simple GPS app, but for it to work offine more easily it needs to be able to down load tiles. At the moment you need to view at each zoom level the areas you wish to be held in the cache. This can take a long time to achieve instead of clicking on proper tiled parts of a master map for downloading. Looking forward to this becoming a feature in future updates, as it is a bit frustrating to have purchased this thinking it could already do this according to the developers description. ### 4/5 — Some great features, could use more *2014-08-23* This seems to have good precise GPS tracking, and great maps - so much more information than google maps or endomondo. Love the elevations, hyttes, names of every geographic location. I love the feature of being able to name the route, and follow the route again on the map. But is there a way to upload the activity to Facebook or somehow share it with others? any potential to make it social? or even view it on my computer?
