## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Φτιάξτε το

*2024-12-10, version 3.2*

Δεν λειτουργεί καν.

### 4/5 — Highly recommend for history research. Though more refined searches needed

*2020-09-02, version 2.0.4*

This app is amazing for almost any Greek site in history. However I have some suggestions that will improve the user’s experience with this.
1. Search by period or era.
It would be nice to search by the different periods and Archeological eras.
2. Mult-select site type. In the the drop down menu there is an option to select an site type. It would be nice to select more then one.

Thank you.

### 4/5 — Πολύ καλή!

*2018-08-30, version 2.0.3*

Πολύ καλή σκέψη και σε πολύ καλό δρόμο η ανάπτυξη της.
Καλό θα ήταν να γίνει δίγλωσσο, δηλαδή
Ελληνικά και Αγγλικά.

### 5/5 — Nice App

*2023-09-20, version 3.1*

Thanks. A useful and convenient application. If all texts had the text selection feature, we could use the translation feature. It would be even better if this feature was added.

### 5/5 — innovative

*2023-01-14, version 3.0*

Necessary tool for anyone researching ancient history. Innovative because it’s the only app I’ve found with interactive map of manuscript collection.

### 5/5 — Yeah wow COOL!!!

*2020-08-14, version 2.0.4*

Thank you!!!! Super app brings you right to primary sources at all locations in Greece. Dictean cave? Euripides text at your fingertips! So cool!!!

### 5/5 — My favorite app (really)

*2017-05-24, version 2.0*

I don't usually write reviews but ToposText is simply amazing. It has an incredible database of texts from throughout the Mediterranean and all of them are linked to ancient sites. I work with great archaeology and use this app to find the most remote tiny sites, which are correctly GIS referenced and linked to all available literature. I use it on my phone all the time as a reference and as an "ancient GPS". It probably would be even more amazing on a tablet - this app makes me want to get an iPad.

### 5/5 — Excellent idea

*2016-12-07, version 1.2*

This is an excellent idea, of how you can make an application useful. Thank you very much.

### 5/5 — Promising

*2016-08-24, version 1.2*

I've only been playing with it for a few minutes, browsing through local sites I already knew. It seems promising, some information on display seems partial but maybe I need to explore it further. 5 stars because it already taught me a couple of things about sites I thought I already knew!

### 5/5 — Fantastic app

*2016-07-08, version 1.2*

I love having a map available when reading from the ancient sources.

## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fascinating!

*2016-03-09, version 1.0*

So excited to see find this in the App Store! Being able to browse ancient sites on a map and then see numerous references to each makes this not only an invaluable resource but also enjoyable to use. We'll be heading to Greece this summer and this app will definitely be coming with us!

### 5/5 — A must-have for anyone interested the Classics

*2016-02-06, version 1.0*

This is an exceptionally good app that allows you to select a place or town in the ancient Mediterranean and it shows you encyclopedical info AND where it's mentioned in ancient texts. By clicking the reference you're taken to the full text. It's very polished and professional. For something like this people would be willing to pay lots of money.
