It is very slow and boring as there have been no new updates or card collecting opportunities for months. The last communication from the developer on the message board was back in April… it is now June. When cards are available, they are well thought out and great looking designs. ### 3/5 — Needs Improvement *2023-06-09* So this game gives you from Free Packs MLS cards , but doesn’t sell them on the shop. Has old events like Champions League Scorers which , as if the MLS has stopped playing and Lionel Messi didn’t just move to Miami 🤷🏽‍♂️. Then for Bundesliga half the Level 6 Blue Cards you can’t even use them . Even it’s from this season because this game doesn’t update players stats week to week. Like what’s the point of getting the blue level 6 if you can’t even use 3/4 of them. Add maybe Europa League to this if y’all ain’t gonna be rolling out stuff out. Or even for the Leagues Cup. ### 2/5 — Was great but is now a zombie app *2023-05-09* I’ve played Topps Kick since 2016 and have enjoyed collecting cards and playing contests. Unfortunately Topps appears to have abandoned the app, as there has been no new content since March 28, 2023. There wasn’t even a warm body around to create a contest for the Champions League semifinals. Even worse for longtime Kick supporters, there has been ZERO communication from Topps on why there has not been any new content (including failing to issue a 2023 MLS base set). C’mon Topps—have some decency and let your customers know what’s going on. This app is perfect for collector of the futbol fanatic! Be more creative in the design. ### 4/5 — Good *2022-08-06, version 19.1.0* Very good game but release sets more often and try to bring back epl. ### 2/5 — Major Glitch Imbalance *2022-06-21, version 19.1.0* Generally I’m a pretty big fan of this app. Love the cards; just wish MLS would get a bit more love, definitely some favoritism for the European leagues I couldn’t care much less about. Recently a set was released on Father’s Day and the coin packs mistakenly had the contents of a diamond pack. For the people that were able to capitalize on this was awesome. They were able to stock up on a bunch of the cards incredible cheap. However, for traders like me that had stuff going on and missed out until after the issue was resolved we were put at a MASSIVE disadvantage. Aside from the rare exception, most of the traders with tons of extras are hoarding or demanding far more than they are worth. It’s dishonest and a really poor reflection of the app’s player base. The right thing for Topps to do would be to continue to make the set easily available (doesn’t even have to be 4 in a pack like it was! but maybe just like 1 per pack or reduce the odds from 1:10 to like 1:3 or even 1:5 would be better) and then they could up the amount you get from diamond packs. That or making the cards ineligible for contests would both be much better solutions than what they elected to do. My guess is that would hurt their bottom line far too much in their opinion and they aren’t willing to do that. Unfortunately this tends to be a company that values profits over people based on what they’ve shown. It’s even possible this was an orchestrated error to drum up sales in the aftermath, but of course I can’t prove that. Hopefully they make it right. We’ll see. ### 2/5 — Shell of itself *2022-06-16, version 19.0.0* First downloaded a few years ago when content was amazing! They had a lot more leagues than just MLS & Bundesliga, and the UCL content was way better. Now it is barley anything but a tap in to collect a free pack. Not much content anymore. Worst customer service of any company I’ve ever interacted with. Zero communication. Zero apologies. App developer must be in elementary school. Too busy with recess to fix anything and too inexperienced to know how. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — This app is DEAD. *2023-06-10* Just take a look at their Twitter feed. No support, no response. No updates or new material for months. Topps only cares about $ and as soon as they stop making what they want the abandon their apps. This happened with Topps Huddle, Walking Dead, UFC, Slam and soon to be, KICK. Believe me, they will drop any app support at their notice and leave you hanging out to dry. As soon as Disney contract is up, it will be gone too. I’ve seen it before. The only app they really support is Bunt. Don’t waste time or money. You only end up with digital cards that the TOS state are really not yours. You can’t sell them and if you do you will lose your account. This is a no win app and all the money goes into the pocket of a sad company. Stay away… collect physical cards. ### 1/5 — Topps abandoned it. Great app until then. *2023-05-19* Great app, even accounting for the duplicity of Topps trying to pay for the cards as if they had NFT value while Topps sold the NFTs elsewhere. Now, having pumped and sold, Fanatics has abandoned the app at a time of increasing global interest in digital collectibles and football. Most other fanatics moves in the market have been fairly myopic and short term profit driven, and this feels little different other than how Penny wise and pound foolish it is. They ended all good active weekly sets and replaced them with nothing leaving users in the dark . Typical Topps before it shifts towards the archive. As someone who was on all those there now and went thru it I know it’s happening. They blame the company they hire to handle the contest scoring instead of holding themselves accountable. Collecting can be fun, but they lie about pack odds. There is no such thing as a set that actually hits at the rate they say whether you buy diamonds or use the free gold. It’s all trash. Plan on almost nothing working out and don’t bother spending money on it. All the Topps apps are the same. They all have zero customer support. You can’t craft anything from the 2022 season but they continue to include these cards in the mystery package and wheel spins! Compared to the other Topps apps the crafting times are longer and the lack of contests is pitiful. Removed the app and moving on. ### 1/5 — Waiting….. wanting…….. *2022-04-07, version 18.3.0* Although they said new MLS cards and contests were coming they haven’t. The game is bigger in North America than it’s ever been and it’s a disservice to it’s fans to not include the league. Same goes for the EPL. ### 1/5 — Greed is not Good *2022-03-17, version 18.1.1* Money grab of a game. Odds of insert cards just are not true. Topps claim that odds for insets are based on a 1 of—-, but then state that each pack has its own odds. That means Topps should tell the truth and state you have an X% chance of an insert. Getting an insert is percentage based, not pack purchase based. I could go on about the very poor chase scoring, but I am not sure Topps even cares. There has been ZERO new content in many months. Don’t waste your time. Oh I might add that there has also been ZERO meaningful communication about the app’s future from Topps or their team.
