But anyway , a friend told me about just going online and doing some research and finding a system that would work best for me and I found TopSheet. I saw that it was meant to be used in the film/entertainment industry , per se , but it can actually be used by anyone , like me. Haven’t fully mastered this app , but it works! Etc etc. ### 1/5 — Its a scam *2022-07-02, version 1.2.4* This is a garbage app. App producers, you get 10 mins to win me over or you’re deleted. This one was deleted fast. All it did was take me to do payroll. Actually sell me the payroll feature. The home page when you sign in lists events, schedules….no way to add to it. No call sheets or any of the other features. Total garbage. ### 1/5 — Completely Beta, complete trash. *2021-04-18, version 1.2.3* What a nightmare of an app and /or browser timecard process. Utterly confusing and not intuitive. No online support or assistance to aid in the process of filling out timecards. Zero information. The entire crew had problems. Complete access to everyone's timecard and deal memo was visible for some reason and there is no separate crew vs. production company login page. What a potential nightmare for future identity theft. A failed and completely BETA system not ready for prime time. We were one of the unfortunate production companies and crews having to flounder through this incompetent system. ### 1/5 — Not sure why it asks for the information it says it needs. *2019-08-09, version 1.0.4* Erring on the side of caution, I won't begin to seriously use this app until the developers can answer this question. It starts out asking for me to create a username and password. Then it asks for my phone number, which I guess was so it could send me a verification code, which I put in. It then asks for my birthday, and it wont let you proceed until you fill it in. So, I put in a fake birthday. Then it asks for my street address, and wouldn't let me proceed - so I put in a fake address. I tried to visit support through the support link in the App Store description. It takes me to a slick homepage with very little info on it. There is a Messenger chat icon, and Facebook, Twitter and Instagram icons. I don't use Facebook, Messenger, Instagram or any other Facebook-related app. Having a birthday, phone number and street address for a person is ripe information for theft. I'd like to know what the purpose is for asking for it in a video production app, and why there are no "adult" support options like an actual support page. ### 3/5 — iPad Pro *2021-04-03, version 1.2.3* I use an iPad Pro for most of my workflow now and I was hoping to add this app to my process. Unfortunately, it must be used in portrait mode. I use the floating keyboard so it would be very helpful if the app supported rotation, even if it had black sidebars to preserve aspect ratio. ### 3/5 — Frustrating *2020-01-13, version 1.1.21* Started off very user friendly, however, upon time to export the call sheet the app becomes very difficult to understand. I was hoping to be able to export my call sheet as a pdf and I’ve spent the last twenty mins figuring out if my crew had even received notifications. With so many moving parts and pieces, it’s a sigh of relief on my end to have the logistical aspects be so simple. The UI is incredibly user friendly, and has a great range of functions that covers the day-to-day. Being able to perform all the necessary planning, scheduling, and payments as a one stop shop is a game changer in such a versatile industry.
