Doesn’t show the 4 busses they have running. The other companies are better ### 1/5 — Scam company *2026-02-09* I can’t begin to tell you how horrible this experience was after spending over $600 we were scammed by not only our time being pushed back 30 minutes the day before the day of the event our bus was an hour late. We didn’t receive everything on the menu. We didn’t get our rosé drink. We didn’t get multiple items on the menu. They didn’t have any to go containers. Was which is essential to this experience! They didn’t have a live performance. The bus was freezing cold because we was told by an employee that the bus is old and if they put the heat on, it will cause the coolant to leak and the bus to go slower. The food that they did have was old the bread was hard. The pudding was watery. The cream cheese was cracking. The tea was cold. And out of all the teas that was served we only got offered three. All the silverware and dishes and even the tea kettle was dirty. All the trips are 90 minutes. Long hours was only 60 minutes so they cut the trip short at the end an hour late. All the food, cold tea, hard food, watery food, old food but yet we spent over $600 and no to go containers not that we was taking anything to go It’s part of what we paid for. Horrible horrible horrible experience. I encouraged everybody to not book the Atlanta location. Oh, and let’s not forget one of the employees didn’t even have a uniform. I think they picked her up from the side of the road to service us because you can tell she no experience and at the end they had the audacity to ask for tips. They ruined my daughter’s birthday celebration and I hate them for that and I’m going to get all my money back. Whether they refund me or I dispute it or I take them to small claims court for money then I deeded for all the distress they caused!! ### 1/5 — Nicht zu empfehlen *2026-02-07, version 1.8.6* Die App ist absolute Grütze. No one to contact or in charge at buses. Only a ticket scanner guy who told us and other 12 people that there is no one in charge or to talk to. 100% BS greedy scam who have no respect for the USA or hardworking people who paid money for a tour. They will be reported to proper authorities! ### 1/5 — Horrible *2025-12-07, version 1.8.4* We booked on 12/6/25 all started out good then went downhill. We got on at stop 2. We enjoyed the on and off until we had to get back on at SoHo. Waited over 40 minutes for the bus to arrive. The next stop, the driver had to see how many open seats, a number of times. The ride from there to where he made everyone get off right after Hudson Yards. The trip ended abruptly, when the driver told us the tour was over. We paid for 3 tickets and didn’t get what we paid for. Yes, the city was busy. They should refund some money for not letting you do the entire tour. Street persons gave four different pickup locations for the same route for uptown New York. Buses that are supposed to run “every 10 to 15 minutes” turned out to be once an hour. They end up not showing up and not wanting to refund so something tells me that this app is just a devious addition to a devious company. ### 1/5 — PÉSIMA FRECUENCIA DE AUTOBUSES *2025-10-07, version 1.8.4* Si, por cada 4 o 5 autobuses de big bus pasa 1 de top view, solo vimos a un representante de la compañía cuando compramos los tickets, dicen que es l ultimo pasa e las 6pm y esperamos desde 5.30 hasta 6.30 y no pasó ningún autobús de la compañía, tuvimos que caminar por casi una hora para regresar a nuestro destino. Definitivamente busquen otra compañía ### 1/5 — The worst experience ever - Waits of money and time *2025-10-06, version 1.8.4* First of all, the online map didn’t work, so we couldn’t see when exactly the bus would arrive at the stop. Secondly, the stops on the map were incorrect — some had been moved several blocks away. Thirdly, some stops were completely canceled without any notice. I am pregnant, and I barely made it to the stop, hoping to finally sit down and rest, only to find out from the company’s representatives (who were selling tickets to tourists) that the stop had been removed. Sorry, but I don’t have psychic abilities to predict that, especially when the stop was still shown on the map. Some stops are located very close to each other, while others are extremely far apart. In our case, they were way too far. As I mentioned, I am pregnant and had no intention of walking so much — that’s exactly why we bought this tour, to walk less. Moreover, some stops were meant to be transfer points between lines (for example, from Uptown to Downtown), but the driver skipped two of them without saying a word. Once again, we had to walk long distances just to find another stop. When you purchase the ticket online, it says buses run every 15–20 minutes. But once you download the app, it suddenly says every 30 minutes to an hour! There’s also no mention of lunch breaks or other pauses. At one stop, we waited 15 minutes to board, and then sat on the bus for another 35 minutes before it finally departed. Because of that, we only got to see Central Park from the bus — we had no time to get off and enjoy it, since we would’ve been stranded afterward. To make things even worse, one of the drivers was extremely rude and unprofessional. Overall, this was a huge disappointment — a complete waste of money and time. ### 1/5 — It takes an eternity to arrive *2025-09-20, version 1.8.3* For every 4 buses of their competitor is one of Topview. Long waits for a bus to arrive. Be aware of this since they claim otherwise. Today another bad experience. Not happy with all the time they take to arrive, when they do, they have a limit to pick up people, even when there are seats availables. So we had to wait double time. Save your money and time. The map doesn’t show where the bus stops are. You can’t find the right time estimates for the stops Near you. A complete and utter failure. ### 1/5 — Boat tour is a scam *2025-07-10* We went to the Staten Island ferry to take a quick (and free) trip where we'd also get a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty. We were accosted by a guy from top view who positioned himself as an independent rep of some sort for tourists. Everything he told us was a lie. First, that their tour was faster than the back and forth from staten island. Second, that the tickets were $40. They were $50. But he painted an appealing picture, so we did it. After which we were led on a long walk away from the station to a hop on bus which was supposed to take us the rest of the way. Except it wasn't leaving for another 30 min. So we wait. Then ride the filthy bus two stops where we have another long walk ahead of us to the boat. Where we find we've missed the one we were supposed to be on, so now we wait 45 min for the next one. Now we're 2 hours into this ordeal and haven't stepped foot on the boat. Don't care how the tour will be, it's all tainted by feeling scammed. ### 1/5 — App & Tour WASTE of MONEY - Overpriced Bus *2025-07-03, version 1.8.3* I’m mistakenly purchased this tour for my family when visiting NYC. This is essentially an extremely overpriced bus around NYC. - No live Tour Guide - Recorded info doesn’t work, just plays US themed music over and over. - No one tells you the upcoming stops! - You need to watch closely and figure out where you are and when you want to get off. I accidentally purchased 4 tickets instead of 3. The company refused to give me a refund. Do not book through this app or site! ### 1/5 — Poor Quality Tour and Scummy Business Practices *2026-05-17* The tour itself is nothing special. I’ve been on tours- in NYC and other cities- where the narration was more involved and the sights went beyond the ‘typical’ ones. The agents are persistent and will say anything to make a sale. For example, my parents were sold a ticket for a tour to Brooklyn that they then said was cancelled. When we asked for a refund, the option is to call the support number which directs you to an online form. Horrible way of doing business. ### 1/5 — Horrible App *2026-04-13* This company is just awful- ZERO customer service and communication. Experience was meh at best. Don’t waste your money. ### 1/5 — We lucky few *2026-03-22* My band group was set up to use this bus company for our tour. We waited an hour and a half at a bus stop just to find out we were at a stop they barely visited. Fine, we’ll go to the starting stop. We get there and we can’t get on the empty seats because they have to be open for people at the next stops. So my group (7 out of the 150 of us total) said screw it and just walked the city. It was much more fun than any bus trip could’ve been. In a stroke of fortune the buses were so delayed that my group was the only one to arrive at our next destination on time because we simply walked. So overall, don’t use Topview. Just use Big bus or walk like we did. ### 1/5 — New York *2026-03-22* I downloaded this New York bus stop app hoping it would make my commute easier, but it’s been nothing but a frustrating mess. The arrival times are wildly inaccurate—buses that supposedly arrive in 2 minutes don’t show up for 20, while others appear out of nowhere with no warning at all. The interface is cluttered and confusing, with basic features buried under layers of menus that make no sense. Half the time the app freezes or crashes when I try to check a route, which is the bare minimum it’s supposed to do. On top of that, the GPS tracking is completely unreliable, often placing me blocks away from my actual location. Notifications either don’t come through or show up way too late to be useful. It honestly feels like this app was never tested in a real-world New York setting. Instead of helping commuters, it adds stress and uncertainty to an already hectic transit experience. The people running it do not know what they're doing. They take forever and a day to actually start driving stop to stop, and we got turned down at a stop two times because they were saving open seats for other people when we had tickets. What's the logic behind that? Why are you turning down people who already payed for tickets in hopes other people pay for your tickets. We had to wait two hours for them to actually take us. The bus also feels like a school bus but somehow worse. On the top they have half a piece of parchment paper as a room and then the rest open on the top. It also looks like it hasn't been cleaned in quite a while because there's trash inbetween the seat I'm sitting in. Even 1 star is an endorsement for the rubbish company. The bus took much longer than other companies. The service ends very soon at ~3pm. So there’s no point of buying a 24 or longer hours trip. On each station, there’s staff from other companies but none of TopView. We got the petite menu was the perfect amount of food to eat. The employees were nice and friendly (was a little slow getting the tea, but only had one person serving it). The tour guide had very great voice. The cleanliness was good you could see out the windows perfectly fine. Just a reminder that this is a tour bus company if you want high tea go to somewhere like the London house ### 5/5 — Yes *2026-03-22* Nah ts trash ### 5/5 — Best Decision I Made For Our Trip *2025-09-20, version 1.8.3* ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Booking with Top View NYC was the best decision I made for my trip! The cruise to see the Statue of Liberty was absolutely fantastic! I loved the convenience of being able to hop on and off at different stops, which made exploring the city so easy. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. The tours themselves were fun, informative, and packed with interesting history that brought the city to life. Between the amazing sights, smooth logistics, and great service, this was truly a highlight of my New York trip. Highly recommend Top View to anyone visiting the city! ### 5/5 — Tea around town *2025-04-13, version 1.7.11* This was one of the BEST tour we ever went on. The tea was nice and warm, the food was delicious, and the bus itself was so great. I went with my mother and our friend for my mums birthday. We did the deluxe package and I have to say, the food was so good. The little sandwich really did fill me up. New the tea. We got to sample 5 teas and they were nice and warm. My favourite was the chai tea. Also, the server was so sweet and friendly. One more thing I like is that we leave right on time. The 2 fingers part was sticky. Kept freezing. But I just scroll down to the bus stop number and clicked on it to see address. Wish the bus stops had the same number on the sign as they do in the bus route picture. You were always having to look at streets to know where u were at on picture in app. But scanned our tickets and everything else. ### 3/5 — Traffic, traffic, traffic *2024-04-29* I did this tour 10 years ago and was excited to get the tickets so my 3 friends who have never been to NYC could see as much as possible. Didn’t go near enough to most things I hoped they would see. Stopped by traffic at places but then sped up when he could, so no time for pictures of things even in the distance. Very frustrating. Secondly, I am on a walker and was not told we would not be taken back to stop #1 where we got on near The Crowne Plaza where we are staying. Fortunately, the supervisor was there at stop 17 (end of tour) and was kind enough to get us at least to stop #18 which did help. You need to notify passengers that all have to get off the bus at 17. It shows the red line going from 17 to 18 and back to 1 on the map. Misleading. The driver and his helper were very courteous to all of us. We have also booked the Liberty tour and the night tour tomorrow before heading home on Wednesday morning.
