Discovered the app several months ago and recommended it to friends. It’s easy to use. I love that you can watch, read, or listen. Listening is my preferred way to consume the content and I greatly appreciate the 15 sec forward and backward buttons as well as the ability to speed up or slow down the pace of listening. Have never had any big issues or problems using. Very thankful for the resources. ### 5/5 — Where’s Rabbi Baruch’s Lessons *2022-06-26, version 1.4* This is a good app and for a 1st release it’s one of the best 1st releases I’ve seen. It could be better, and I suspect it will. One of the changes I would make to the app is to add rabbi Baruch’s teachings. Tom and Baruch’s teachings are amongst the finest I’ve ever read, together they represent a treasure trove. I hope they keep this always free to the world, I’d hate to see it monetized. I recommend it to eager new believers, BUT I recommend it to theologians even more frequently. If you’re a Christian and you are to have one app on your phone, after the Bible itself, this would be my suggestion. Some ideas to improve include: -links to Baruch’s teachings -links to Tom’s resources (sources) -Ability to download entire chapters -Ability to bookmark/create notes Absolutely great work TC team! ### 5/5 — Excellent teaching *2022-06-01, version 1.3* This is a must have app for learning how the whole word of God applies to all people. Very clear explanations, backed up by scripture and historical facts. We have been studying the Bible with Tom Bradford via YouTube as we live in Michigan but YouTube comes with its own issues including their “politics” with censoring and tracking. I much prefer getting the information directly from the source like this! I’d never read the Torah and when seeking a guide though it, I stumbled upon your YouTube channel. We started with Genesis chapter 1 and we are just finishing Deuteronomy today!! We tried so many other online lessons but I just didn’t connect to them like I did Tom’s approach in teaching. I am so beyond grateful and pray often thanking YHWH for leading me to you!!! This app is great! Direct and easy to use!! Thank you for all you do for us eager children of YHWH who are desperate to learn the true intentions and teachings of the Bible! I have learned sooo much going through the Torah, but suddenly the app will not load. It keeps saying “try again”. I have tried turning my phone off and then on again and I have also tried deleting and reinstalling the app and it still says try again. I’m putting this review here in hopes that the developer might contact me because I didn’t see any place on the website to talk about app issues. I love the Torah classes but each time I go back to listen to the next chapter where I left off, the app automatically goes back to Genesis. I am in Exodus. ### 3/5 — iPad Mini Issues *2022-07-18, version 1.4* Update-My initial review was made right after the initial release of the app, and the app appears to function properly at this juncture, so I have updated the rating to three stars. The rating is strictly on the app performance, not the course content which is excellent and educational. This app does not work well on my iPad Mini. Everything is miniaturized and the app does not expand the screen to allow the notes to be read. The good news is you still get everything on the web using your browser until they fix the app. ### 3/5 — Needs work *2022-05-27, version 1.3* I liked the usability of the old web site. I couldn’t find anything today. I have studied under Tom and under Dr. Baruch through Torah Class. I’ve been a Christian since the 1980’s but these teachings have revolutionized my understanding of the Word. Sadly, I couldn’t find my next lesson from Baruch in the book of John here. I found it through LoveIsrael.org. Are you no longer showing Dr. Baruch’s video teaching on torahclass.com ? ### 4/5 — Doesn’t flip horizontal for reading *2024-05-14* I love this class. It has been so inspiring to read and learn and Tom Bradford is a fantastic teacher. My only complaint is the updated app doesn’t flip the transcript horizontal when you turn your phone. The older version did and made it easier to read. I’m guessing this is a bug that just needs fixed. The vertical is too small for me to read and enlarging the text forced me to swipe back and forth to read the sentence. Please fix so I can continue with my study!! On a positive note about 2.0, it doesn’t revert back to the home page and lose your place of you let it sit idle for a day. All in all, this teaching is a must for Christians and Hebrews who want to know their past, how it applies to our present, and most importantly what to expect for the future. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Best review of Old Testament I’ve found *2024-07-31, version 2.2.4* I have struggled with Many stories from the Old Testament. Mr Bradford’s explaination is by far the most compelling I’ve heard yet tying the Old Testament meaning to the New Testament. He excels at explaining from the mindset of those in the time in which the story was recorded. I feel a much closer in my relationship and understanding with the father, son and spirit after listening to his teachings. Also, it’s a great resource for slides and I’m thankful for the audio as I can listen on my workday commutes. Thank you for offering this for free. Don’t let the title of the app fool you though, he has studies on more than just the Torah in this app. If you are looking for a deeper in depth understanding of the Bible with Jewish culture and context being well taught in a verse by verse manner one book at a time, this is for you. In these times, it is of the utmost importance to know God, and to be reconciled to our Father through the saving blood of His Son Jesus Christ. Thank you Tom for boldly sharing your Spiritual gifts with the world. We love you! ### 5/5 — Favorite Bible study app *2024-02-19, version 1.9.1* This is by far the best way to dive deeper into each chapter of the Bible. Tom Bradford is a gifted teacher and explains everything in such as easy way for everyone to understand. I love being able to take notes and watch his videos at the same time. Highly recommend. I love that he reveals the truth from the Bible itself and not the opinions of people (if he does give a suggestion or opinion he states where it’s coming from). I have never been able to read and understand the Bible just reading it myself, but with Tom breaking everything down, I love the quick lessons and have a very hard time putting my Bible down and continuing on with my day.
