It took sometime but finally we got what we wanted. I’m wondering why none of my friend were using this. I would highly recommend torii and what you get after closing for about 80 to 90% of closing cost is nothing less than bonus. ### 5/5 — Loved working with Torii *2020-10-20* Where do I even begin? I’ve actually been looking forward to writing this so well-deserved review. Torii is INCREDIBLE, and it amazes me that there are so many people out there using still a traditional real estate model. Torii has a totally client-centric approach, and makes it effortlessly easy for buyers. My fiancé and I just bought our first home (after touring 45 houses and having no idea what the buying process would entail), and had the immense pleasure of working closely with Mike, and also Lauren and the rest of the fantastic Torii team. They really understood us and our requirements, and were super responsive. The app can be a little wonky at times, but anytime we saw a house we wanted to see, we sent it directly to Mike and Lauren to get us in. The “team” (mortgage broker, inspector, insurance broker, attorney) were all super coordinated and in lock-step throughout the whole process. We never felt pressured to use Torii’s preferred partners, but can’t even imagine trying to navigate everything with a group of people who didn’t know how to work together. It was every efficient; everyone we worked with was superb and made us feel that we were getting a great value. The best part (there are so many of them!)? We got fully reimbursed for all closing costs the DAY OF closing. Torii really does live up to the hype and deliver on their promises in every way. EXCELLENT experience. She made the home buying process so easy. She was quick to respond - always on it whenever I had a question or needed an update. She is also great at negotiating and is very transparent about the way she does business. I truly couldn't have asked for a better agent and team and I'm so glad to have worked with Jarman and Torii. Highly recommend Torii to anyone who is new at this home buying process (or even those that aren't new!) When we first decided to look for homes, Mike took the time to explain the process to us. Once we were ready, he helped us at each step of the way. He and the rest of the Torii team were incredibly responsive, informative, and generally great to work with. Mike and Torii carry the weight for you whilst keeping you smiling and ensuring your new house feels more like a new home. After our offer was accepted, Mike and the Torii group provided a fantastic team of lenders, inspection agents, closing attorneys and insurance providers that made the buying process a complete breeze. We genuinely felt that Mike had our best interest in mind when we were making our first offer, going through the inspection process and working through details of our purchase and sale. It was also such a blessing to have ALL of our closing costs covered through the Torri group. As first-time homebuyers, the process can seem daunting, but Torii was lockstep with us throughout the whole process. Using their great online search function and mobile app, we were able to find the perfect house and make an offer that was competitive but also fit our budget. From helping us with the paperwork, to finding a lawyer, to scheduling the inspection, to connecting us with affordable insurance, Torii put all the puzzle pieces together, making the closing process feel seamless and stress-free (not to mention we saved a lot of money at closing, thanks to Torii). They were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend buying a house with Torii – you’ll be glad you did! ### 5/5 — Highly recommend *2019-02-12* We bought our first home in October of 2018 and used Torii as our real estate agency. Our agent Mike at Torii was very helpful throughout the entire home buying process. In addition to helping us find the perfect house, Mike and Torii went above and beyond to coordinate with a great legal team, insurance agency, and everything else we would need throughout the process to make it as smooth and seamless as possible. This took a lot of stress off of us and made the process fun. In addition, the credit provided towards some of our closing costs was a big help to us, and the move in kit was a nice added bonus! I would highly recommend using Mike and Torii as your real estate agent if you are looking to buy a house soon! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — 50-100 miles off *2021-09-06, version 2.13.2* I type in one town to search, and it gives me a neighboring town (which I have ZERO interest living in) OR the app tries to send me over two hours north. Pictures don’t load, and I can’t give a range of square footage. The app will not load any properties, and I just see the spinning “loading” wheel. Or any area?? ### 5/5 — Amazing experience with Saad and Torii!!! *2022-04-07* We were first time homebuyers and had an amazing experience with Saad and Torii in a stressful market! He was clearly knowledgeable about the cities we were searching in and the current market, as well as incredibly responsive to our emails/texts and available to come with us to open houses and work through offers/negotiations. He was professional, approachable, patient, and honest as we went though the home buying process - just an awesome person and agent all around. He was there with us every step of the way, and all of the professionals Torii recommended (mortgage, lawyer, movers, etc) were similarly fantastic. We couldn’t imagine a better agent and team to work with and 100% plan to work with Saad and Torii for all of our future real estate experiences!!! We truly felt like Torii had our backs, made the process as seamless as possible, and put in the extra personal touch. ### 5/5 — Great team to work with *2021-12-14* Buying a house is daunting, with the Torii team it was surprisingly easy! White glove experience from start to finish by a team that clearly protects your interests and cheers you on the whole way. They genuinely care about your happiness as a buyer and proactively try to relieve stress. App is easy to use for searching, favoriting, and scheduling showings. My only wish is that they took that white glove experience and showed it off more in the app with to do lists and reminders. ### 5/5 — Best home buying app ever *2021-10-29* Torii has revolutionized the home buying process and built an amazing app to complete the user experience. You can kickstart your entire home buying process from within the app from connecting with lenders, finding a home with the right kind of kitchen to submitting showing requests, info requests and even starting an offer on a property. They don’t have listings everywhere yet so I end up using other apps for areas they’re not in, but for the places that you can search, this is the best real estate app I’ve found. I love the TikTok style interface - I swear I could scroll through homes like this forever. The features that let you choose what photos you see first and the room quality/condition is a game changer. Makes the process of looking through homes so much faster and more engaging. The team and our agent Saad worked hard to answer all our questions and make us feel comfortable. Saad helped us get a great deal in this crazy market, whilst guiding us through the process. The best part is that the process is all streamlined through Torii, which makes it super easy, with the added advantage of getting over 60% of our closing costs back! We were surprised with gifts throughout the process, and even got a Torii move-in survival kit to help us with our draining move. Work moved us out to San Francisco and we were thrilled to learn that Torii is also available in the Bay Area. We had another great experience; our agent helped us secure a home in San Rafael, an extremely competitive market. We worked with Saad in Boston, and from day one we could tell we were in good hands. Saad is professional, dedicated, and experienced. As first-time homebuyers, we really had no idea what the process was like. Saad walked us through everything and helped us put together competitive offers that we still felt comfortable with. Once you get an offer accepted, Torii's busniess model really shines! They hook you up with everyone and everything you need to close. It really saved us so much time!
