## What is Torika?

Your manga, comics, and light novels — finally one library.

Torika is a native Mac, iPad, and iPhone reader for the CBZ, CBR, EPUB, and PDF files you already own. It doesn't sell you content. It makes sense of the content you have.
POINT IT AT YOUR FOLDERS. IT DOES THE REST.

Torika scans what's there, identifies each series, and fills in real covers, genres, themes, publication year, and volume counts. Nothing gets moved. Nothing gets renamed. Your files stay exactly where you put them.

THREE READERS, BECAUSE THREE FORMATS READ DIFFERENTLY.

Paged manga with right-to-left support and two-page spreads on iPad and Mac. Continuous vertical scroll for webtoons and manhwa, detected automatically. A real prose reader for EPUB light novels, with typography, margins, and theme controls built for long sessions.

YOUR LIBRARY, FROM WHEREVER YOU KEEP IT.
Local folders and iCloud Drive. Your NAS over WebDAV. Your own Komga, Kavita, or Calibre-Web server over OPDS. One shelf, whatever it's stored on. (Remote sources are Pro.

IN SYNC WITH THE TRACKERS YOU ALREADY USE.

Connect AniList, MyAnimeList, or MangaBaka once, and Torika keeps status and progress moving in both directions as you read. Your AniList custom lists show up as filters over your own shelves. (Tracker sync is Pro.)

REDISCOVER WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE.

Torika sees something a tracker never can: your disk. It surfaces the series you abandoned halfway, the volumes you downloaded and never opened, the runs you own complete, and the one that just finished publishing while you weren't looking.

FIND ANYTHING, OR JUST BROWSE.

Filter by tag, genre, publisher, reading status, or content rating, and exclude the tags you'd rather not see. Group your shelves by author, demographic, or decade. Save a search and it becomes a shelf. Or open the app and let it hand you something.

BUILT FOR APPLE, NOT PORTED TO IT.

Not a web app in a window. Torika is written in Swift for each platform it runs on: real sidebars and menus on Mac, spreads and multiple windows on iPad, one-handed reading on iPhone. Reading position, filters, and preferences follow you through your own iCloud. One purchase covers all three — Universal Purchase, with Family Sharing.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT.

No account. No ads. No analytics, no tracking, no reading history sent anywhere. Series titles go to metadata providers only for the sources you turn on. Your reading stays between you and your devices.

FREE, WITH A ONE-TIME PRO UPGRADE.

Free covers up to 50 series from one local source, with metadata matching and every reader feature included. Torika Pro is a single $19.99 purchase, not a subscription: unlimited series, multiple libraries, WebDAV and OPDS sources, tracker sync, and the Fix Match and Refresh Metadata tools.

Reads what you own. Understands it. Stays out of the way.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.1.3 — 2026-08-22

• Find any setting fast — Settings has been rebuilt to feel native on every device, with clearer sections and a search field.

• Your series now match consistently across your devices, so the same book no longer ends up with different details on your iPhone than on your Mac.

• Your library keeps up when you move or rename files, and a dropped connection mid-update no longer removes series you still have.

• Mainstream titles are no longer hidden by the maturity filter, and single-file series and more archive formats are handled correctly.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-14

Torika comes to iPhone and iPad, with a wave of reading and library improvements:

• Smarter tracker sync — status and dates stay accurate, and your series keep their match when you reorganize folders
• Polished iPad reading, library, and onboarding
