### 2/5 — Delivery

*2026-08-23*

Not reliable

### 4/5 — Always the Star

*2026-07-19*

The summer at the cottage is so much more enjoyable with the on line version of the star. I am 82 and have been reading the star for most of it. Gingerpeach.

### 4/5 — Honest accessible journalism

*2026-06-26*

It is believable journalism that you can get online. Well written and well researched news source.

### 4/5 — Good but could be excellent

*2026-06-13*

I enjoy the e-newspaper. No longer waiting for paper to be delivered. Less waste. To get 5 star rating the word search, puzzles, and sudoka should be interactive.

### 2/5 — Programming errors

*2026-01-27*

I love this feature, especially when I’m away from home but now there’s a problem with the section showing current highlighted stories. It appears to have stopped updating on January 15th. Can you please have your programmers fix it? I really miss it. Thanks. Still receive the paper edition because I love the Star and believe that excellent journalism should be supported.

### 4/5 — Just one annoyance

*2025-09-08*

A great paper. Great opinion pieces. A lot of special interest stories. And available 7 days a week.
The only issue I have is if there are updates to a news item , a lot of the previous day’s points are repeated. It fattens up the paper for nothing.

### 3/5 — Glitch in Page View

*2024-10-24*

In the updated version, the drop down section selection menu in page view only stays visible for 1 second , then disappears, making it useless.

### 4/5 — No to P.P.

*2023-03-17*

Why, you ask? Simple. I am 79 years old and during my run, I met thousands of people. One of my chosen characteristics, for anyone who is a joy to listen to or chat with , they have a way of looking at many things in a positive way. I watched P.P. during his hatchet days for Mr. Harper, he would easily qualify for Rowan and Martin’s comedy hour. Never smile and never say a good thing about a person or issue. I suspect this a trait he acquired in his early years.
We all know that cliche, do you look at the glass half full or empty? Unfortunately, for P.P. , his glass is empty!
If he wanted to make a change in his appearance, he should watch Eric Idle( you tube) closing song at the 2012 London Olympics, “ Always Look on the Bright Side of Life”. He might learn something?

### 4/5 — Improvement Needed

*2023-01-16*

It’s like there’s no proofreading department at the Toronto Star any more- lot’s of mistakes & missing words or words all jammed together. I also received one issue last week with poor resolution & labels on every page (fixed later on in the day) so it was difficult to read. Quality needs to improve.

### 4/5 — Comment

*2022-11-04, version 6.4.3*

I read the national post and enjoy the comment section I wish there was a comment section in the Toronto star.

### 4/5 — Sports

*2022-06-13, version 6.4.3*

I’ve enjoyed the Star for many years. I still subscribe to the paper edition. (My wife prefers the crosswords in the newspaper) I read online.

Why is it that the Sports Section is sometimes split into different sections? Why is the Sports Section always buried in the back end of the paper? Minor complaints, maybe, but it’s annoying.

I’m a long time subscriber. I enjoy reading current news, columnists and business, as well as sports. I’m a strong supporter of yours views. Keep up the good work.

### 5/5 — Love the new format!

*2022-06-09, version 6.4.3*

I have received the Toronto Star forever!
The reporters are relentless to dig up truth and report it. The new format is great.
The range of insight that the reporters have is most impressive.
Keep up the great work!
I look forward to starting every day with my “Star”.
Thanks!

### 5/5 — Star Eedition

*2022-05-14, version 6.4.3*

Would you please provide a way of turning off the pages which pop up from the bottom of the screen every time I touch the screen on my iPad. They’re driving me crazy.

### 5/5 — Used to be good

*2022-05-07, version 6.4.3*

I have purchased the Saturday star online for a VERY long time. I enjoy doing the puzzles and reading the comics, it is a lovely way to spend Saturday. However recent changes to the platform prevent me from purchasing my Saturday paper. After I click on the paper I wish to purchase, I am taken to the purchase page. That page freezes every time, and I am not able to select anything on it. I have reached out to the support desk three times now to no avail. Additionally all my back-issues were deleted when the platform upgraded and I cannot find them anywhere. I am not so worried about the back issues (though I did pay for them), but I would like to know when the issue will be resolved with this new platform and I will be able to purchase a single Saturday star again.

### 1/5 — No access to iPad edition despite subscribing

*2023-01-10*

### 1/5 — Poor sign up/log in interface across various platforms

*2022-06-12, version 6.4.3*

I finally returned to a Toronto Star subscription. I’ve been disappointed with the sign up/login functionality. I have had various but not consistent failed log in attempts despite all credentials being correct. I emailed for support a week ago and have not heard back. Seems so strange to have such a critical piece of online infrastructure not working optimally.

### 1/5 — New Toronto Star app

*2022-05-19, version 6.4.3*

Does not work well on iPad 4. Ability to zoom to expand font is reduced compared to the old eReader. Not helpful for those with lower vision.

### 5/5 — The Star of my morning

*2026-08-10*

I look forward to reading, scanning and learning the news near me and of our world every day.

### 5/5 — Lifelong Star reader

*2026-07-06*

Excellent well balanced articles that reflect life in the GTA including current issues and the many topics that residents regard as noteworthy. Political commentary is always on the forefront as Canadians feel we are in a position of defending our identity and economy these days. Star journalists are generally well chosen to represent our views and inform us of thorough analysis too.

### 5/5 — It’s good to get ePaper Toronto Star

*2023-12-10*

It’s great.

### 5/5 — New epaper is fantastic

*2023-07-22*

I currently get the e editions of 4 newspapers. I have always disliked
the Stars epaper and found it clumsy and difficult. The new app moves the Star to the front of the line in ease of use, page readability, and general appearance.

### 5/5 — Toronto star

*2023-04-07*

Thanks for letting me know to remind me about my bill to pay

### 5/5 — Keep reading

*2022-10-29, version 6.4.3*

We are daily readers of The Star from front to back. The reporting and articles consistently clear and helpful as we made sense of the day’s developments.

### 5/5 — Enjoy ePaper

*2022-09-26, version 6.4.3*

We thoroughly enjoy reading our Toronto Star online. It is very convenient and we can access it even when away.

### 5/5 — Paper paper

It reads like a paper paper just the same but with extra features.
