### 3/5 — Meh

*2025-09-12*

Glitchy software most of the time

### 2/5 — Difficult to pair with the Captor X

*2021-01-10, version 1.3.11*

This is temperamental. Once the pairing has failed - which happens regularly - there is no way of restarting the pairing process without rebooting the app. Even this doesn’t always work. I’ve just downloaded it again (early Jan 2021) and it still isn’t pairing.

### 3/5 — Please make this app work with os 10.3

*2020-12-13*

Please make this app work with os 10.3 since older iPads cannot update to os 11

### 4/5 — iPhone 11 13.5

*2020-06-05*

Still crashes when opened

**Developer response:** Hello,
Could you please create a ticket from the app (in the MORE menu) so that we can investigate on your issue ? (Be sure to tick the "Attache the log file" checkbox.)
Best regards,

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-03-20*

Supro airwave disconnect ls constantly. Totally unusable.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work right without internet.

*2025-09-06*

If you are somewhere without internet or cell data, the app doesn’t like to open, and if you get it to open, the cab descriptions and images are missing.

### 1/5 — Requires Bluetooth

*2025-08-21*

Unless I’m missing something, you can’t make this work with a USB cable. Bluetooth just emulates a USB connection so making it work with a cable should be trivial. My two notes is built into a Revv D25, so I didn’t have the option to buy the Bluetooth version.

### 1/5 — Will not pair

*2020-05-31*

Pre-ordered the Captor X. Waited on it for two months. Finally got it and plugged it up for the first time. It will not pair!!! It loads cabs, presets and the app shuts off. Really can figure out what the problem is.

**Developer response:** Hello,
Did you have the chance to upgrade the app to the latest version (1.22) ? The startup crash issue has been fixed in that version.
If the problem still occurs, could you please create a ticket on https://support.two-notes.com/ ?
Best regards,

### 1/5 — Crashes whilst reading settings from Captor X

*2020-05-28, version 1.2.0*

I received the hardware today, the iOS app crashes after entering the pairing code.

### 1/5 — Will not connect?

*2019-07-27, version 1.0.11*

iPhone 8 says I’m connected but the app says I’m not. The app connected once and started to load settings and then lost the connection. I’m sure will be great when it actually works. Was happy to finally see an iPhone app as my iPad is to old for the app to run on it.

**Developer response:** Hello, try to unpair the C.A.B. M and from your phone (from the settings app) and to run the Torpedo Wireless application again. It should ask for the the Bluetooth pin code and the connection should be established. It it does not work, please submit a ticket on Two note support site so that we can help you.
Best regards,

### 2/5 — It works but the UI is terrible

*2026-05-15*

I’m not sure if these guys have a UI designer on their team or how long it’s been since they’ve looked at their app outside of the iOS device simulator, but the UI is truly terrible. There are certain menus you cannot go back from because the back button overlaps with the clock in the top left corner. Menu buttons at the bottom are so cramped at the bottom that you can barely tap them. The corners of buttons get cut off around the edges of the phone because the devs haven’t bothered to update their graphics. The UX is so terrible I simply do not want to deal with it. Please, fix this. I want to love your products.

### 2/5 — Rubbish

*2025-05-18, version 1.4.27*

Great when it works, but just recently the app won’t work on iPad or iPhone . When trying to get support the reply is like you already know the ins and outs , I’m not tech minded anymore, just wish two notes could make one understand a lot better .

### 2/5 — Not reliable

*2024-12-16, version 1.4.25*

Not reliable at all when using mobile phones, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. Very frustrating.

### 2/5 — Red blinking light of doom (disconnection)

*2024-02-20*

It works for about 5 minutes then loses connection and then the captor starts blinking. So I do a power cycle and the same thing happens. Once the unit begins blinking I can’t run the Mac app either. I want to love this but it’s been pretty frustrating in my experience.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works flawlessly and stable enough for stage use

*2026-04-02*

This is the only guitar pedal/device app I have that I actually trust. I’ve used it for years with a Captor X and now an Opus. The app is functional, intuitive, and it always connects and works properly on my Mac, iPhone, and iPad. It’s solid enough that I can make adjustments during sound check, and would even trust it for performance use in a pinch.

### 5/5 — Works Really Well!!!

*2023-09-12*

I use the app with my Captor X and it works like a champ. No issues!

### 5/5 — Does the job fine

*2023-09-03, version 1.4.12*

So, Two Notes makes awesome gear, and this app makes it easy to fiddle with options and settings for any preset (or making one of your own)

It’s not exactly pretty — especially if you’re used to polished iOS UIs these days. But it’s easy to navigate and use, has everything you might need — what else to ask for? Thanks, devs!

No pairing or connection issues for me.

But I’d recommend using iPad with it!

### 5/5 — It works well

*2021-09-16, version 1.4.10*

For me it’s all peaches and cream! All the options i need, not too many, no option paralysis :)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2020-06-15, version 1.2.2*

The compatibility issue reported above is now fixed. Great app, amazing device. My only complaint is there is no power amp sim.

### 5/5 — iPhone 7

*2020-06-09*

iOS 13.5 app and device worked flawlessly. There is a very slight but still noticeable delay while using headphones and changing settings on the app as well as the physical knobs while the app is connected. However, because you’re using Bluetooth this is to be expected. The ability to connect to this device without the need of a computer is AMAZING!!

### 5/5 — Works perfectly

*2020-01-31*

Easy to use and flawless.

### 5/5 — iphone x

*2019-09-20*

updated to the latest firmare. works great on ios 13

**Developer response:** Thanks for you comment :-)

### 4/5 — Works very well

*2022-03-08*

Needs a high shelf in the custom eq section - otherwise it’s great.

### 4/5 — App seems to work well

*2020-09-17*

App was glitchy when I first tried to use it on iPad but the recent update to iOS 14 fixed my issues. The UI could be more intuitive but it works decently well.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your comment. In case of any issue, do not hesitate to report it on support.two-notes.com, we should be able to find a solution. Kind regards.
