It asks you think purchase it, however. Then, it says, "Unable to connect to store." It doesn't do this for Mayhem mode. I'll give the game more stars if it honors what I paid money for- RETRO!! ### 4/5 — App closes *2013-12-24, version 3.14* I have experienced no issues with the game itself, but when a game is over, the app immediately closes. ### 2/5 — Issues. *2013-11-03, version 3.14* Lots of issues with the new iOS 7 update, the torpedoes go thru the ships when the sub is around and do not explode. Torpedoes and gun do not function at the same time. There is a plane that simply can not be hit because it is off the play screen. In app charged me twice... Fun but should really be cleaned up! If two D ships, which take 8 torpedoes to sink, are on screen plus another ship, all firing depth charges at the same time, it is too easy for ships to escape. If reload time were shorter this would be excellent+. Cannon fire should be able to cause damage to attacking ships not just to depth charges. I can only ever get one health drop per game. That said I enjoy the game. The instructions link is blank. So why have it there? The developer could add interest to this game by having friendly ships appear with penalties for damaging them. Added 12 March: now this upgrade makes for a much improved game. Looking forward to taking on the new enemy ship. Three torpedoes is a much needed bonus. Cannon fire from the sub still needs to be added so that it inflicts damage to ships not just, depth charges, own mines and own torpedoes. If a ship can attack with cannon then so should the sub. Good job. ### 4/5 — Need pause/restart option *2012-03-07, version 1.5* ...this game needs a pause/restart game option. Also more variety of ships would be nice... ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Retro does not work *2015-08-25, version 3.50* I paid $1.99 for the retro and you can not move the sub left or right. Please fix and I will give 5 stars. But for now do not wash the money. ### 1/5 — Guns not working *2013-11-28, version 3.14* The artillery guns don't seem to get the artillery and arsenal that is being sent to my station. Maybe you can fix it to the point that the guns hit the incoming barrels or anything else And that they don't bounce off the destroyers and the like. Once this is done, I can give it 5 stars for my $1.99. ### 1/5 — Purchased it, sorry I did. *2013-05-09, version 3.10* I purchased it and there are no instructions, no pause, paid extra for planes and missiles which lasted about 2 minutes then no more. All these people's names with millions of points seems unrealistic since there is no way to accumulate that many points unless or are playing for 24 hours. My only complaint is that you start all over each time you "lose"the game. In other words, no progress is saved so you never get ahead, just start all over each time you play! I play it on an iPhone and the iPad and it's a game I keep coming back to. Its good for about 20 minutes at a time, and its one of the few games that actually work quite well with my iCade.
