## What is TORQ?

You lift. You don't actually know how strong you are.

TORQ scores every lift against real gym population data, adjusts it for your bodyweight, and tells you exactly where you rank. One score out of 1000. Six tiers, from DUSTY to GOATED. A straight answer to a simple question most lifters never get.
Open the app and you'll see your overall score and today's training. Log your lifts, calories, protein and bodyweight in a few taps, then get on with your day.

What you can do

Get a 0–1000 strength score and a tier for every lift, scored against real population data and adjusted for your bodyweight
Choose a routine from common splits — Push Pull Legs, Upper Lower, Full Body — or build your own week
Track the lifts you care about with fast set, rep and weight entry
Set calorie and protein targets and log against them
Log bodyweight and watch your trend over time
See weekly snapshots so you can spot stalls early and stay consistent

Premium
Premium goes deeper into where you stand and where you're heading:

Full strength breakdown — per-lift analysis and the exact weight to your next tier
Strength radar — your strongest and weakest lifts at a glance
Population comparison — your exact percentile on every lift
Trajectory projection — projected time to your next tier
Deload detection — monitoring of volume and performance
Advanced nutrition trends across 7 and 30 days

No accounts. No servers. No social feed. Everything stays on your device. Just your numbers, organised — and an honest answer to how strong you actually are.

This is a big one. We've overhauled programmes end-to-end. Six new templates land alongside the classics — Weekly Full-Body Reset, Full-Body 2×, Stronglifts 5×5, Push Pull Legs 5×, Cut Preserve 3× and Recomp Density 4× — so whether you're training one day a week or six, hitting a cut or bulking, there's now a programme built for exactly that. Every user gets one programme free, tailored to their answers. Change your mind on frequency or goal and the free pick updates too.

The recommender is smarter. Say you can do three sessions a week and it stops nudging you into a six-day split. Pick a specific tier as your target and every card re-ranks against it. You can even set an aim above your current tier — GOATED chasers, this one's for you. Cut programmes are honest about progression: TORQ's tier is bodyweight-normalised, so as your BW drops your score climbs even if the barbell doesn't. That's the whole point of a cut phase, and the programmes now say it out loud.

Onboarding got the same treatment. The instant scorer now searches all 150 exercises with tolerant matching, height accepts feet and inches the way humans actually think about it, and the tier reveal is full-bleed cinematic per tier — the harder your tier, the bigger the spectacle. Score just one lift and TORQ shows a provisional read straight away, then firms up as you add more compounds. No more staring at UNRANKED after a real session.

Home is tighter. The setup checklist now walks you cleanly from first score through three-lift ranking to programme pick to first session. If your programme has today's session queued up, the "log your first session" tile drops you straight into it with real exercises pre-populated — one tap, not five.

Under the hood: fixed a timezone bug that made the programme calendar disagree with the today card in some regions, killed the dead-end "lift not found" screen, killed the legacy Choose Lifts screen (rolodex search replaced it everywhere), and rebuilt the session recap so a first session shows real tier movement instead of zero-to-zero.
