Used to love this on Android and bought that version, so I was excited to see they’d brought it out on iOS, however they have price gouged to the max - really expensive subscription only, and unusable without it (absolutely full of time-out ads, most features disabled), over complicated, and doesn’t look half as nice as the Android version used to. Couple to that it took me ages to get it to work as it’s geared to get you to subscribe leather than use the free version, and it wouldn’t pull down any fault codes which my preferred app will. The app is very slow to read data so you can't see anything in real time. On top of that, there isn't a very good amount of data points to be read. I was really hoping to be able to use it instead of my scan tool all the time. It was a total waste of money. **Developer response:** We’re sorry to hear about your experience. Support: torque.pro@sadynamics.com ### 1/5 — Spyware *2026-03-01* Torque Pro used to be amazingly useful. Now it asks for consent to your data for a long list of companies before you open. Tracking and advertising data. So looks like it will be uninstalled. What a shame. **Developer response:** We’re sorry for the frustration. The consent prompt is related to advertising and partner data preferences, not the core functionality of the app. You do not have to provide consent to continue using Torque Pro, and declining optional consent choices should stop advertising-related tracking. We understand your concern and appreciate you raising it. ### 1/5 — Waste of money on an F350 Powerstroke *2026-03-01* I bought this to monitor some of the DPF and soot PIDs but soon realized it has VERY limited useful functionality for Powerstroke. Complete waste of my money as the pids rhat it has are basic and most aren’t relevant to diesels. It could not read the soot load. This used to be a great app years ago. It they have made it horrible. Just go get FORScan into have a Powerstroke ### 1/5 — Terrible copy cat of the legit android version *2026-02-27, version 3.3.41* App really pushes you to buy a subscription and locks anything meaningful behind a paywall. Im not the kinda person that pays a subscription without getting to test full functionality like the other obd2 apps. Subscription prices are absurd too. You’re better off spending money on an actual diagnostic tool like the top don scanners. I also hate that the dev uses a very similar name and app icon to the android version of torque pro. These people shouldn’t been on the Apple Store and I’m escalating this as it is theft!…. Save your money, there’s plenty of Apps far more superior than this in the App Store!!!!!! This is NOT the Torque Pro you may be familiar with, especially if coming from Android. THIS IS NOT THE OFFICIAL APP. The developer is a fraud and is using the name to sell his/her subpar app with NONE of the functionality of the original that charges a yearly subscription! Will not connect to MX+ or a slew of other dongle models. The fact this is allowed in the App Store speaks volumes to Apple’s incompetence. ### 1/5 — Not Toque-BHP *2026-06-03, version 3.3.42* This is a knockoff of the excellent android only Torque application published by Torque-BHP. ### 1/5 — Won’t do anything without a subscription *2026-05-25* At the very least, I would expect to be able to connect my ODP reader and get some basic information about my vehicle without having to use a subscription. I’d be happy to pay for a subscription if it does what I need and I can verify that beforehand. However, despite the app saying a subscription is just to “unlock all the features” it will not even connect without push, pushing me through a subscription sign-up. This could be a great app, I don’t know, because because I can’t even verify that it works before paying for it. ### 1/5 — AD CLAIMING PHONE HACKED *2026-05-25* Really? You allow an ad that pops up showing “phone hacked” BS messaging, which then takes you to a “phone cleaning app” in the app store(why does Apple even allow this app on the store?) and if someone isn’t the smartest, they go on to download this app and you now have someone in your phone for real. SHAME ON YOU! **Developer response:** Thanks for reporting this. The ads in the app are served by Google’s AdMob network, and we agree that misleading ads are not acceptable. If anything changes over time or you need any help, please contact us at torque.support@sadynamics.com and we’ll be happy to assist! ### 5/5 — Doesn’t connect with ODBLink MX+ *2025-12-27* Own a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the ODBLink MX+ and purchased the 12 month annual subscription and done all the troubleshooting you can think of unhook the Bluetooth from the phone and reset it on the phone uninstall the app reinstall the app. An no matter what connection type I pick it doesn’t.
