"toruneko" is a Japanese word for "take a picture of a cat". In short, this app is for everyone who wants to take better pictures of cats.

[ Capture the Best Moment ]
Because the opportunity is instantaneous, toruneko keeps shooting continuously. When you press the shooting button, the previous and next pictures also remain on the screen. You can review all the images and pick the best ones to save.
While shooting, you can play the real cat voice by tapping the screen. So you can attract the cats' attention and have them look at the camera.

[ Wherever Your Cat Is ]
To take a picture of you and your cat together, switch to the selfie camera by tapping the screen with two fingers. If you don't want to wake a sleeping cat, you can mute the app.
If the cat is far away, pinch the screen and zoom up to 10x. If needed, you can turn on video stabilization to reduce camera shake.

[ Focus on Shooting ]
Thanks to the toruneko's continuous camera adjustments, you can focus on when to tap the shooting button.
The camera exposure can also be fine-tuned manually. Check out the app's settings screen for other changeable shooting parameters.

[ Crop after Shooting ]
With toruneko, you can easily crop the images after shooting. On the editing screen, you can choose an image, pinch it to zoom, and slide it to move.

[ Eliminate Photo Tilt ]
You can correct the images horizontally with Automatic Horizontal Correction feature of toruneko. Even if the iPhone is tilted during shooting, images will be corrected as if holding the iPhone horizontally.

[ Suitable for SNS ]
When you want to post a cat gesture to SNS, sequence photos are useful. You can export a series of photos as one. Or you can also export photos as an animated GIF. It is a fun way to show the cute gesture of a cat.

Updated review: this app is a must-have for cat owners and lovers 😸 It allows you to take cute cat pictures and GIFs of your fur babies. They told me about a conversion from GIF to video such as an app called GIF Cracker. Anyway, I’m now able to post these videos to Instagram. Yay!! One happy cat  owner and Toruneko app user 😜 A suggestion would be to have the GIF in higher resolution or quality

**Developer response:** Sorry for the late reply. Instagram does not officially support animated GIFs. To display the animated GIF of torneko on Instagram, save it in the Photos app and then convert it to video format before uploading.

This app does take pictures of your cat and the voices do capture the attention of the cat. However the disappointing thing is that sometimes you have to wait quite some time for To do what you wanted to do. This app doesn't allow you to have more than 10 pictures on the stream. So you have to be sure that you capture it in four orfive pictures because once you press stop,then it takes some afterwords which remove the earlier ones. 

I think pretty much the same can be achieved by taking a video and then using another program like StillShot to pick the one single picture that you want. That gives you the option of more choices.

I got it for my iPad, then realized two major problems: my iPad doesn't have a camera, and it crashes whenever I try to get into it. It looks like a good app, though, so I will download it on my iPhone and see if it works then.

Just after I posted the review below, I tried to contact Team Aries through the app support button to discuss the concerns the addressed in my review. It took me to a website that merely displays screenshots of the company's apps, with no way to contact them. This is a disappointing way to conduct business.
